Olivia walked quickly to the trailers, repeatedly texting on the chance that he'll see them. No such luck. She picked up her pace, knowing they were on a tight schedule. Luckily, his trailer was one of the first ones (perks of having a last name at the beginning of the alphabet).
She tries the handle, but it's locked. "Josh?!" she called, hoping she would somehow wake him from the outside. She began hitting her fist against the door but to no avail. I'm pretty sure he could sleep through an earthquake, fire alarm, tsunami, tornado, and volcano all happening at once.
Olivia opened her phone again to try and text him but was distracted by a notification: it said Ethan had posted something on Instagram. You've got to be kidding me. She forgot she had his notifications on. She opened Instagram to turn them off but accidentally stumbled across his post when the home page came up: it was a picture of him with a girl under his arm on the coastline of what she would assume is some Hawaiian island. The caption simply said, "Happy anniversary." There wasn't anything else; no name for the girl and the comments were off.
What... the... fuck?
They haven't even said publicly that they broke up, so this is how everyone gets to find out. That's just fucking fantastic. This single photo that had almost nothing to do with her made her feel like she had been run over by dozens of semi-trucks.

Joshua shot straight up in a cold sweat. His t-shirt collar somehow felt constricting as he tried to catch his breath, deciding to just take it off. He took a water bottle and carefully poured a little into his hands then rubbed it over his face to cool off. What the fuck just happened?
He quickly realized he was still in his trailer from not long ago. It was a dream? He stays there and stares at himself in the mirror, not knowing what to do now. What did I do? The images his mind had created were blurry; well, most of them anyway. He could still see Olivia lying there helpless and defeated, completely drained of all life. He shuddered at his own crazy imagination, and a few tears fell as he thought of her or anyone else like that. No way is that happening. Not under any circumstances.
A few moments later, he hears the handle of his trailer being pulled. "Josh?!" Olivia. His feet don't want to move though. He's afraid that his dream would somehow become reality if opened that door. She continues knocking, almost pounding on the door now. It can't be real. If she's there, then it can't be real, he convinced himself.
She continues pounding on the door, and he feels bad for just staring at it. Joshua finally walks the small distance over to the door and opens it. Olivia was shocked that he actually answered and almost hit him in the chest when he opened it.
The second he saw her, Joshua could not be more thankful. "Oh my god," he mumbled. He quickly pulled her into a hug and held her tightly. "I'm so glad you're ok."
Olivia was confused by this but still returned the hug. "Uh... thanks?" She wrapped her arms around him and felt how hot his skin was. "Are you ok? You're burning up."
He nods against her shoulder, grateful to hear her voice. "Yeah. Yeah, I'm ok." He sniffled a little, and that only made her more concerned.
"What happened? I thought you were just taking a nap."
"Oh, uh..." Realizing how disheveled he looked, Joshua quickly pulled away and threw on his shirt for the episode. "I'm fine. I just..." He looked at her face, studying it for anything resembling the figment of his nightmare. Her skin wasn't a ghostly white, and there weren't any injuries.
"You just what?" Olivia took note of his tired eyes and slightly red cheeks.
"Oh, um, it was nothing. Just a little nightmare."
