Chapter 25

*Adeylne's POV*

Morning rolled around and since I was awake I decided to go through some more cars. Even though my knee hurt I could still put my weight on it and walk I wanted to do something besides sit around. I opened the trunk to a car and was looking at clothes when I heard soft footsteps and then they stopped. I looked throught the mirror and seen Carl getting ready to scare. he took a deep breath

"Don't even think about it little man" I said turning around.

Carls breath left him with a sigh and he looked at me.

"How'd you know?" he asked.

I chuckled and sat down where the hood had been running my through my hair.

"Super powers"

Carl pulled out my Ipod and I looked at him confused.

"Can I listen to this?"

I nodded and opened it for him and told him the code incase it locked again and he picked a song and it was song I liked and Carl sat listening with me and next thing I knew we were dancing.

*Daryl's POV*

I woke up again to find Adelyne gone again, her crossbow was still in the same place I left it so I knew she was close by. I walked out of the RV and looked aroud I seen Rick and Lori but no Adelyne. I walked up to them and they turned to look at me.

"Where's Adelyne?"

"With Carl they're looking for supplies" Lori told me.

I went to search and when I came across them I came across them goofing off. Adelyne's Ipod was playing and she and Carl were dancing to some rock song I didn't know. Carl grabbed Adelyne's hands and they spun around and Adelyne threw her head back smiling she stopped and hugged Carl. It ws nice to see her smile actually smile not the fake one she used. I know she was upset but looking at her just now she was glowing with happiness and I know Carl had a lot to do with it. She was playing with a child and I assumed she smiled like this when she was playing with Katie. Carl looked up and seen me and that's when Adelyne looked up seeing me. She whispered something in his ear and he chuckled and took her Ipod and walked away from us and she got up walking over. I slung crossed my arms over my chest,

"Looking for supplies huh?" I said amused.

Adelyne looked after Carl and them back to me.

"It started out that way but we got caught up in the music."

"You're smiling"

"Yeah...people still do it you know?" Adelyne chuckled.

"It's nice to see your smile. I know Carl had a lot to do with it. Now come on we're going to look for Sophia all of us. Well accept TDog and Dale."
