"bakit puno ka dugo princess? nasugatan ka ba? saan-" natataranta niyang saad habang chinecheck ang buong katawan ko. napangiwi nalang ako nang maalala ko kung saan galing mga dugong nasa saakin. itinaas ko nalang ang aking kamay para pakalmahin siya.

"ah, this are not my blood they are from someone else." i awkwardly said while trying to laugh to cheer her up. she immediately realized and look at me sadly.

"i see, i'm really glad that you are able to escape from this barrier but it's been a minute since it envelope the palace, so how did you pass through the barrier?" nakakunot niyang saad habang nakaharap saakin. hawak hawak niya din ang pareho kong braso.

natahimik nalang ako ng maalala kung paano ako nakalabas at lumingon sa aking likod ng makita siyang nakatayo at nanunuod saming dalawa na parang may malalim na iniisip. sinunod din naman ni eli ang aking tingin at bakas sa mukha niya ang gulat.

"p-princes sino siya? b-boyfriend mo ba siya?" nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa binanggit niya. pati din ata si aziel nagising sa pag iisip niya.

this bastard, being polite to someone while in reality he is an asshole. i really want to punch him from his deceiving looks.

i feel touched when eli is thinking about me. i can't help but to feel guilty since i almost give up. she's like mother, being selfless that makes me feel more bad. also i sympathize eli because without this bastard, maybe i'm still suffering. i'm really thankful towards him even though he's an asshole, he helped me. i really didn't care about his reasons, i'm just glad he save me from those chains. from my written fate.

i noticed emotions swirling through his ruby eyes and dissapears as i blink. i got confused to what i saw, if it's my imagination. if it's real then maybe he's not an asshole as i thought.

"you don't have to bow like that young lady since it's my job as a subject to save her highness. i can't let her despair from her worries." at ngumiti ng nakakasilaw na nagpakurap sa amin dalawang.

"oh what a kind magician you are. since you help her highness you can come with us to repay you from your good deeds."

"you don't have to worry about it miss-"

"no, no i insist since you really save her highness, why don't you stay with us for awhile and be the princess's companion since she's been lonely. having someone around her age will be start for her having a friendship."

"how can i reject such offer when i'm also having trouble where to stay."

i became speechless as i watched this two talked like they're been friends a long time. i just sigh because aziel's plan is really happening and eli is being fooled by his charms. what a two-faced jerk.

"wow, even for simpliest things, you need to use magic? what are you? are not familiar with the seatbelt? is that why you have weird expression when you come inside the car? perhaps it's your first time riding in a car? " i fake gasps putting my hand through my mouth.

"yes, it's my first time." nanigas ako sa salitang binitaw niya? ano daw? first time? nagbibiro lang naman ako.

"h-huh? alam mo hindi magandang joke yan, nagbibiro lang naman ako-"

"i already told you that i slept for too long didn't i? ang mga alam kong sasakyan dati at maliliit lang at hindi ko pa nasusubukan iyon. why would i need cars when i have magic to teleport. " while waving his hands and crossing this legs. he also started to get relaxed and lean in the backseat.

nakakunot noo lamang ako nakatingin sakanya kung maniniwala ba ako o hindi sa sinabi niya. hindi ko nalang siya pinansin dahil nagsisimula nanaman siyang magyabang sa huli niyang sinabi. napatingin nalang ako sa harap at kita ko sa front seat mga braso ni eli.

"akala ko ba nabali ang braso eli? bakit maayos na 'to na parang walang nangyari?" nagtataka kong tanong sakanya at sumandal sa bintana habang nakatanaw sa mga punong dinadaanan namin. asa likod ata kami buong kastilyo para hindi kami mapansin.

i heard her chuckle "princess, magic can make everything possible. you of all people should know that. " i saw her glance through the rear mirror as i muttered 'magic again. edi wow. ' she just giggled even the bastard beside me snicker. "speaking of magic, we're gonna use magic circle transportation so that we can quickly go to the suarez residence without getting suspicious."

" wouldn't the king or his right hand would check the residence since you are the one im close at? and you did not resign didn't you? you know that this is temporary since-"

" don't worry princess, they know that i'm already having a vacation that's why they are not gonna suspect anything. beside even they knew, i think there reaction will be more relief. maybe they can even let you stay longer since they didn't expect you to escape. " mahaba niyang saad.

napabuntong hininga nalang ako at naramdam ko ang lahat ng pagod ko sa katawan at unti unti pumipikit ang mga mata ko.

"i think you should sleep now princess. when you open your eyes, remember that you are now outside. you can do whatever you want without limits." nakangiti niyang saad.

"rest well, masyadong marami ng mga nangyari sa iyo. " kasabay marinig ang malamyos niyang tinig ay ang pagkain sakin ng kadiliman.
