chapter 13.

"mother." i softly called her and placed a bouquet of roses infront of her since it's also her favorite. we decided to visit her grave as my request. eli and aziel is waiting for me in the distance since they don't want to interrupt me.

"it's been a while right mother? i'm sorry because i never had a chance to visit you since i don't want to see the new king. as my promise to you, i succeeded escaping from the palace." i smiled and sat down infront of her grave.

"as you said, the outside is beautiful and the chains holding me dissapeared since i can do things i want from now. i can now understand you, i felt like a bird flying to the sky since uncle can't manipulate me from now. the new king killed him after all."

" he won't use us like before, mother. he will not verbally abuse you, neither order me to kill an innocent life. eli said that most people i killed committed many sins too. but i can still feel the blood flowing in my hands as uncle forced you to watch me murdered someone. i-im sorry mother, because of me, you wholefully gave your life to me. i can't even save you, how can i still be your daughter when i failed to free you from this hell? i even became a murderer that you don't want to be. " i felt my tears falling as i tried to wipe them. a gentle breeze pass through me and i sensed a familiar comfort circling me. lalo lang akong napaiyak dahil baka nandito siya. nanunuod at nakikinig saakin.

"i-i dont even know if it's my imagination but t-thank you for always there. kung hindi dahil sayo, matagal na akong sumuko sa mundong ito. kung alam lang ito ni ama sana- sana matagal na tayong buo. kagaya ng inaasahan ko noong bata pa ako. pag ba hindi ko siya nakilala sa araw na iyon, magiging ayos pa din ba kalagayan natin? buhay ka pa din ba? pero dahil malupit si tadhana, nasira ang lahat. " kung hindi ako kinain ng kuryusidad at hinabol ang royale divian ko, siguro tago pa din kaming dalawa. walang ka muwang muwang sa nangyayari.

ilang oras akong nagkwento sakanya ng mga naranasan ko sa labas. pati na din kung paano ako iniligtas ni aziel.

"aalis na kami ina, babalik din ako kaagad. gaya ng sabi mo, magsisimula na akong mag aral sa paaralan bukas. bantayan mo ako ha?" biro ko sakanya at dali dali tumakbo papunta kela eli na nakaupo sa sasakyan. nauna si eli saakin na kausapin si ina kaya ako ang huli. saktong bumuhos na ang ulan nang makapasok na ako sa sasakyan. tumabi ako kay aziel na natutulog at may nakakabit na earphones sa tenga niya.

"did you already talk to lady yvonne? are you satisfied?" ngumiti ako sakanya dahil nawala na ang mabigat na dinadamdam ko nang kausapin ko si ina.

" yes, i'm already satisfied." ngumiti din naman si eli sa naging sagot ko at pinaandar na ang sasakyan.

"i'm glad, then it's your time to move forward. we shall prepare for your first day tomorrow. " i'm quite nervous about it but my excitement dominate most of it.

"okay eli!" i exclaimed and aziel groaned in his sleep so we laughed at his reaction. i don't need to worry since i have eli and aziel by my side- since he's my friend yeah! he's my only one friend.

i decided to ignored the tightness of my chest as we drove.

"hahahaha!" malakas na tawa ang dumadagundong sa buong kwarto matapos kong patayin ang isang lalaki gamit ang hair stick na regalo saakin ni ina noong unang kaarawan ko.

nanlalamig akong nakatitig ngayon sa bangkay ng lalaki. dugo. purong dugo ang naaaninag ko pati na din ang maliliit kong kamay ay nababahidan ng dugo.
