"lady hera!"

"you're back!"

"but why are you wet?!"

"aeisha! go get a towel right now!" sigaw ni elise habang napatakbo si aeisha papasok ng kwarto niya. kaka teleport ko lang sa harap nila matapos kong bumisita sa sérene na basang basa. ilang oras din ako nanatili doon kaya hindi ko namalayan na sumikat na ang araw.

lumabas si aeisha na may dala dalang tuwalya at kaagad na pinagpunas ito saakin.

"you said that you'll return before sunrise?! pero bakit ngayon ka lang?! at bakit basang basa ka?" bulyaw ni elise saakin habang blankong nakatitig lang ako sakanya.

"please lady elise, i'm so tired right now. can i have a rest?" walang gana kong saad at kinuha ang tuwalya sa kamay aeisha.

"pero nakuha mo ba ang kailangan mong gamitin?" matagal bago ko nakuha ang ibig sabihin ni aeisha kaya't tumango ako at kinuha ang batong hiyas sa bulsa ko. pinakita ko ito sakanila habang gulat silang napatingin sa hawak ko.

"what was that? i feel strange magic inside of it."

" ngayon lang ako nakakita nito, what is this lady hera?" nagkibit balikat lang ako dahil wala ako sa mood para sagutin ang tanong nila at naglakad patungo sa aking kwarto. napansin naman nila ang kalagayan ko kaya nag aalala silang napatingin saakin.

"are you alright lady hera? " napatigil ako sa paglalakad nang marinig ko ang boses ni elise kaya maikling napangiti ako sakanila.

"yeah, i'm fine." matapos no'n dali dali akong pumasok sa kwarto ko at napasandal sa pintuan nito. napadaosdos ako ng upo at niyakap ang aking tuhod. isinubsob ko ang aking mukha habang inaalala ang usapan namin ng reyna ng sérene.

"yes. those chains wrapping around you are curse."

i didn't expect my whole family are cursed. is that reason of my ancestor's suffering? they died without knowing what is causing them to despair?

"curse? a-are you serious?"

"then tell me! why us?! ano ang ginawa namin upang humantong sa ganito?! who cursed us?!"

i also didn't expect the one who's behind this unending curse.

"yes, he's the one cursed his niece and nephew that's why it is passed for many generations. the books stated that he's a powerful king that ever ruled in claveria history, right?"

"but he's only greedy in power that's why he stole his people's mana to satisfy his needs and that's how he became powerful."

"he's a boy born with little mana, so out of jealousy and resentment, he put a curse to his descendants that will surely born with an overflowing mana unlike his."

" he stole the records about the curses and ancient spells in amari fortress and he used the most terrifying curse of all, the chained fate."

" i really don't know the details of it since the first magician of amari fortress forbade any information to leak in public so one knows about it."

tumayo ako sa pag kakaupo ko at pumunta sa loob ng bathroom. humarap ako sa malaking salamat at seryosong tinitigan ang sarili ko.
