"If I hear one more thing about this Lady A woman, I am going to..." Annie muttered and mimed a punch. Jessie nodded gloomily. "You can't punch a person you don't know" Lily reminded, placing her biology books in her locker.

Everyone in town continued their business. Well, everyone except Hailey's.

Hailey's ice cream parlour is where most children would go after school. All the delicious flavours, the different toppings are the specialties of the dainty shop.

BUT,

It may have to go through extreme health measures. Reliable sources confirm that they have spotted mice running around the shop...yet no one has called the exterminator.

Is it because they are afraid of Mr. Hailey, the owner of this shop?

Records confirm that he has been into prison twice. The records are confidential....but there are rumours that it was concerning giving innocent kids drugs. Are the parents afraid their kids might be next? Is Mr. John Hailey threatening these young souls? Stay tuned in Off-script to find out more.

Although no one liked the scandalous, secret revealing Lady A, that didn't stop them from glancing at John Hailey and his family, who looked miserable. People would buy the magazine to make sure that their name wasn't written and they couldn't help but tell their relatives of what was in the magazine.

Lily looked at Bill Hailey whose eyes were red. "Say hello to the rats for us" snickered an older kid. Bill didn't comment. "It's looking really bad" Noah muttered to Lily. "I wish I knew who it was...I don't care if it's a man or a woman, I'm going all karate kid on them" Annie said. There was silence. The town wasn't the same cheerful place anymore...and they missed it. "I think I know," said a voice. They all turned to find Janet Mills, looking pale and clammy and holding a small scrap of paper in her hands.
