"Phew, that was much easier than I thought that was" said Jessie as she moved the large desk that blocked their way to the outside of the passage. "For a warehouse, this is weird"

Daniel, Lily and Luke came after Jessie through the passage and found themselves in a deserted corridor. Lily decided not to mention the cobwebs tangled in Jessie's dress. Luke leaned over the wall and stayed there firmly. His knuckles were white. "He'll be alright" comforted Lily. Daniel nodded. Jessie looked at the other passage which was covered with a portrait. "Wait" she hissed suddenly. The four of them fell quiet. There could hear voices. Luke grew more nervous by the second.

"Gosh, your hand is cold Noah...and...furry?" Annie shivered. "I'm nowhere near you" said Noah, insulted. Janet turned her flashlight in Annie's direction before Annie could scream. "You're touching a blanket" said Janet, trying to leave amusement out of her voice. Annie turned crimson as the other two chuckled and continued to walk through the passage. "Hey, how come a blanket was there-" Annie asked. Janet suddenly stopped and Noah bumped into her.

"Ouch, that was my foot"

"Oi! Be quiet!"

"Stop shoving me!"

Noah, Annie and Janet stumbled out of the portrait hole. "That passage was a lot smaller than Josh mentioned" huffed Noah. "Alright...let's go" Luke said and the united group made their way to a cul-de-sac where the back door to the office was. Luke held his finger to his lips as he opened the door as quietly as possible. They could hear Josh talk about the town getting scared. "Good" Eliza's smooth voice came. Janet went white and clutched Annie's hand. Lily, feeling brave went inside the office. Eliza was facing Josh with a smile on her lips. Daniel and Noah followed Lily and hid next to a cupboard filled with books. Daniel gave Lily a look of pure terror and scolding. Noah pulled out his phone and pressed the video button. Josh tried his hardest to not give any suspicion to Eliza.

Outside the office, Jessie had ran with Annie to contact the police since they couldn't get a clear signal. Janet shakily followed Luke towards the secretary's office. Ginerva was absent mindedly humming and didn't hear as Luke and Janet locked the door. "Now what?" mouthed Janet. Luke shrugged. Janet felt close to tears.

Why did things have to go this way? Hearing her mother's voice, enjoying the suffering of others...that was not the mother she grew up with and knew.

Janet ran towards the front door of Lady A's office and opened it with full force. Josh, Eliza, Lily, Noah and Daniel looked shocked at the entrance.

"That's enough mom"
