Usually, when I read books, I see at least a page worth of acknowledgements, which makes me wonder, how many people are there to thank? Of course, I used to skip acknowledgements myself, but reading them made me realise how much support authors had gotten during their journeys.

When I finished writing and felt satisfied with the story, I think I would need an entire book to acknowledge the people that helped to make this story. Most of the stories that I keep to myself has been inspired by the wonderful people around me.

Well, I'll try and make this acknowledgement short and sweet.

I have to start with my amazing family. My dad, my mom and my brother for giving their honest feedback on my drafts and giving me advice on how to improve. And special mentions to my aunts and uncles, my cousins and my grandparents.

Next, I have to obviously thank my friends, for pressuring me to publish my book and give me amazing support, friendship, jokes and laughs in return.

I have to mention all the teachers that taught me. Without them, I would still be that girl who was reading a book in the corner. But now, I can write stories I can call as my own.

I can't forget about the authors that have inspired me to write and make writing my comfort zone. Living in the worlds that they have created, makes me feel like an explorer. An explorer that has glasses and reads and watches tv shows way too much.

Then, at last to all the readers out there, for grabbing this book and giving it a try. I hope you loved reading about the Brooks gang as much as I loved writing them.
