Janet Mills was in her room looking through the web when her door burst open. She had been looking at translator apps, seeing as Jessie's book didn't work. It was a risk they had to take, she thought grimly. She quickly armed herself with a ruler and looked at the intruders. A determined and furious Annie entered the room with a meek and shocked looking Jessie. Janet rose an eye brow and put the ruler aside. "Breaking and entering is against the law" she said. Annie didn't comment. "Your mom let us in" Jessie said.

Annie slammed the new edition of 'Off-script' onto Janet's desk. Janet read the article quickly.

Most people know that Mrs. Edwin Canterbury is a vet in this town. "I love animals. I guess it all started with some horse-riding lessons" she commented when she was asked why she loved her job.

BUT...

Just like Hailey's, this vet too has a secret. The veterinary had actually been an institute for animal killing. Further research shows that the past generation of Canterbury's have been involved in killing harmless animals.

Janet couldn't read any further. Annie paced angrily. Jessie looked at Janet but they had no idea what to say. Annie suddenly stopped and turned to them. "My family has never...never...been involved in these kinds of things. My grandpa was a famous horse rider! And my mom didn't even get that interview. It's all fake! It's ALL FAKE! And to make things even worse, people keep staring at us!!! First it was public and for the greater good, but now it's PERSONAL! She'll definitely be seeing a wild animal loose now!"

There was a silence.

"How can you be so sure it's a woman? Lady A could be a man?" Jessie asked. "That's the problem...we don't know. Whoever Lady A is...they should be ashamed" Janet intervened before Annie could shout again. "We have an advantage. She doesn't know we're on to them. My mom is nowhere near to finding her! But it's best if the police keep an eye on New York in case we're wrong."

"What about the list that we made for the spy suspects?" asked Jessie. "Did you add that shop keeper from the small grocery store near my house? He seems fishy" added Annie. Janet nodded. She knew Annie was upset, but all they could do was to decode the clue.

That was when they got a text message from their group chat. Janet quickly looked at the text.

Noah- boarding in a few minutes. We would call but people might hear us

Lily- saw the new edition in NY

Are you ok Annie?

Annie- I want find out who this Lady A woman is...but before we hand her or him over...can I punch them in the face?

Daniel- YES

Jessie-seriously?

Lily- NO

Janet- wait is that a no for punching lady A or no for the seriously part?

Noah- I don't think punching someone like that is legal

Annie- only one way to find out

Lily-*sigh*

Daniel- btw Luke showed us some old editions of 'Off-script'

Noah- her last edition was kinda creepy

Annie-what do you mean?

Lily- it was about how she had something bigger planned later

Janet- yep...totally creepy

Daniel- gtg... boarding now

Jessie-safe flight!!!!

"I found a translator app...It seems promising" Janet says, staring at her computer screen. While Jessie and Annie gathered around the screen, she quickly scanned the picture and the screen lit up. "It's German" Janet read and clicked the 'translate' button.

"Why German? Anyone could read that" Jessie commented, confused. "I don't know who can speak German in Brooks" Annie shrugged.

They gasped as they read the English translation. Annie glanced at Jessie and Janet, who looked at the screen in disbelief.
