One thing that Lily admired about the performing arts were the costumes. Laces, ruffles, corsets and dresses. But she was also grateful for the tights and shirts. It was much easier to get into character when you wore a costume and applied makeup. It was much easier to pretend you were someone else. Lily had no idea how to answer her. "It just...seemed......fun?" she answered lamely. It was a miracle that her mother actually bought it.
