Hermione and Draco separated ways after having lunch at Draco's suite. It was hard for the both of them to let go of each other but they knew that things will get more complicated if they continue being intimately close.

Draco promised to keep their kisses a secret for Hermione's sake, and that he wouldn't try to kiss her (on the lips) again until it was appropriate to do so. Hermione promised Draco that they will continue being friends at Hogwarts, and will be looking forward to seeing him again in a few days on the Hogwarts Express.

Hermione used the suite's fireplace to floo to the Burrow, while Draco flooed to Malfoy Manor after she left.

Hermione arrived at the Weasley's fireplace mid-afternoon. She saw that nobody was in the living room when she went out of the fireplace. She was about to go upstairs to Ginny's (and her room) when she heard loud voices outside. She recognized it as Harry and Ginny's, so she quickly went outside to greet them.

"Harry! Ginny!" She called loudly to her best friends who were flying on their broomsticks around the house, chasing each other.

They both looked down and saw that it was Hermione, they quickly landed near her, then Harry hugged her fiercely, his broomstick lay forgotten on the ground. Ginny was smiling widely at her friend, happy that she looked well and happy- blooming actually, she thought.

When Harry let Hermione go, she hugged Ginny tightly, she missed her friends so much- her family.

"You have to tell me why you look blooming," Ginny whispered on Hermione's ear, not wanting Harry to hear their little girl talk.

Hermione let go of her and looked at her in the eye, confused. Ginny just raised her eyebrow and hugged her again, whispering, "Don't play dumb with me, Hermione. You are my best friend and I could see through you."

"Hey, girls, why are you whispering? I'm here too," Harry told them, annoyed at their behavior.

"Nothing, Harry. We just missed each other," Hermione replied smiling at her friend.

Ginny just smiled, then said to her boyfriend, "We'll just have a little girl talk, alright?"

"Okay, I'll just fly for a bit more. See you later girls," Harry replied, taking off on his broomstick.

"Come on, let's go to our room," Ginny told Hermione, pulling her inside the house. "By the way, mom has taken Ron to Bill's for a few days. He'll be back on the eve before we go to Hogwarts," she informed her.

Hermione was relieved that she won't be seeing Ron for a few more days, she still didn't know how to break up with him.

When they were in their room, Ginny casted a silencing charm so they won't be overheard. "Spill," she demanded to Hermione, her arms crossed on her chest. When Hermione just looked at her innocently, she added, "I know you were with the Malfoys."

Hermione was surprised by Ginny's deduction. "Okay, yes I was. Narcissa invited me to stay at their manor," she replied.

"What happened?" Ginny asked, wanting details- her friend seems to be hiding something, and she wants to know why she's glowing as if she's very happy about something or is in love- not with her brother, obviously.

"Well, I just stayed there for a few days. I told you that I don't want to see Ron yet, so I agreed to stay with them," she explained simply, not wanting to divulge any details.

"How was it? Narcissa seems okay when we met her. How about the ferret?" She inquired.

"I was quite comfortable there, to be honest. Narcissa's very accommodating. Don't call Draco that, he's okay too," Hermione replied, lying on her bed. "I want to rest a bit, Gin," she added, not wanting any more questions.

"So it's Draco now, is it?" Ginny asked, grinning.

Hermione has closed her eyes to avoid Ginny's penetrating stare. "Yes, we are friends now actually," she replied, hoping her friend will be satisfied.

"Really? As in real friends or just an acquaintance?" Ginny probed, sitting on Hermione's bed.

Hermione sighed, knowing Ginny is on a roll with her questions. "Draco's changed, Ginny," she stated. "He's quite a gentleman and he treated me well," she added.

"Okay, but tell me why you are beaming. Surely it's not because of my idiotic brother or did you already break up with him that's why you're so happy?" Ginny asked her.

"I'm not beaming, Ginny," Hermione replied, annoyed at her friend.

"Yes you are, Hermione," Ginny replied back.

"I'm just happy to be back here, alright? You and Harry makes me happy, Gin," Hermione told her, opening her eyes and looking at her girl best friend.

Ginny smiled, then said, "I'm happy you're back with us too."
