"So, what bed do you prefer?" Draco asked Hermione when they entered Teddy's room after they have watched the television that night. The room was rearranged to accommodate another single bed in place of Teddy's crib.

"I guess I'll take the one near the window," Hermione replied, wanting to feel some fresh air in the morning.

"Alright," he replied, waving his wand so that the other single bed near the door was placed beside the other bed. "There," he added smirking.

"Draco, don't you think your mother or aunt would not see what you've done? Obviously they wanted us to use separate beds," Hermione told him, slightly worried about the older women's reactions.

"Surely we won't both fit on a single bed, love. And I really don't want to sleep without you beside me, after all we're in the same room," Draco said, embracing her. "Don't mind the old ones, this will be our room for the holidays," he added, giving her a lingering kiss on her jaw.

"They might check on us, you know," Hermione said, giving him a slight push.

"Mother would not, I assure you," he replied, making himself comfortable on the bed.

"How about Andromeda then?" She inquired, searching for her luggage.

"She won't, she would be too busy with the baby and Mother," he drawled. "Do you want to use the hallway bathroom first?" He asked her.

"Fine, I'll just freshen up first and change into my pajamas," Hermione replied, rummaging through her bag.

"Maybe I could join you?" Draco asked her cheekily, winking at her.

"No," she replied curtly, closing the door.

Hermione thought of everything that has happened that day as she showered. She definitely have to ask Draco about what he told Ron of her being his fiancée soon. She just hopes that he just said that to irk Ron, because she definitely doesn't have an answer to that yet.

There is no question in her mind and heart that she loves Draco, but she still has a lot to do. Finding her parents is definitely her utmost priority after all, which could take ages. Maybe she could just ignore his previous words and just wait it out.

Hermione sighed as she stepped out of the shower. She hastily put on her pajamas so that Draco could have his turn, knowing that she had took longer than necessary in the shower.

When she entered their room, she saw Draco still lying down on the bed, his eyes now closed. It made her remember the time she went to stay at Malfoy Manor, the first time she got to see beyond his cold exterior as he slept looking as innocent as a child, the first time that they have almost kissed because of trying to annoy each other.

Their relationship definitely changed a lot after only a few months, but she would not have it any other way.

"Draco, I'm done," Hermione said softly, leaning close to him as she sat on the bed.

He opened his eyes when he felt someone beside him, then gave her a smirk. "You smell good, love," he told her.

"I know. Go shower before you fall asleep again," she said, standing up to help him get up.

"Wait for me, alright? Don't sleep yet," he requested as he walked towards the door.

"I'll try," she replied grinning at him.

When Draco finished his shower, Hermione was already sleeping on her side of the bed. He sighed quietly, knowing that it has been a long day for the both of them.

He was actually planning asking her this holidays to marry him, but he has to be sure first that she would say yes to him.

His row with the Weasel earlier definitely dented his chances of a positive response from Hermione. He knows how badly she thinks of her friends' welfare before her own, that bloody Gryffindor chivalry really sucks.

Her shock to his words to the Weasel was also a bad sign, obviously she was not expecting those words coming from him this early in their relationship. He did not see a positive emotion crossing her face as he said that she will be his fiancée soon, and that made him nervous and afraid of her rejection.

He laid down beside her, as close as he could without waking her. It feels nice just to lie down and sleep beside her, being with her makes him feel complete.

Before Draco succumbed to sleep, he felt Hermione shift beside him, putting her hand on his chest and resting her head on his shoulder.

A loud knock was heard at Hermione and Draco's room early the next morning. Hermione instantly woke up to the sound of Narcissa's knocking. While Draco kept on sleeping.

"Breakfast is ready, dear," Narcissa told Hermione as she opened the door partly.

"Good morning, Narcissa," she replied. "Draco's still sleeping," she added, quietly slipping from the room.

"Let him be, Hermione. Let's enjoy an all-ladies breakfast with Andromeda," Narcissa told her. "Draco needs his sleep, I suspect being up all night," she added smirking at her.

Hermione blushed slightly at her boyfriend's mother teasing. "We just watched the telly last night," she said in a small voice, feeling uncomfortable that Narcissa would think they had done something last night.

"It's fine, darling, you don't need to explain anything to me. You are both of age, and I understand that you both love each other," she told her seriously. "Plus, I don't mind having my own grandchild soon," Narcissa added, walking past her.

Hermione blushed beet-red at her words. She calmed herself for a bit before following the older woman.

"Good morning, Dromeda," Hermione greeted their host.

She sat beside Andromeda, across from Narcissa, at the kitchen table. She saw various breakfast dishes already laid out on the table, and was surprised seeing Dolly the house-elf pop beside her.

"Good morning, Miss Hermione," Dolly greeted. "What you like to eat?" She asked.

"Good morning too, Dolly," she replied smiling at the little elf. Hermione then scanned the table and found some French toast and orange juice. "Thank you, I'll just have some toast and juice," she told her.

"Just call Dolly if you want anything, Miss," the little elf replied, bowing to her before disapparating.

"So, Hermione," Andromeda started. "Is Teddy's room comfortable for you two?" She asked offhandedly, scooping some of her poached eggs from her plate.

Hermione blushed slightly at her question, she saw Narcissa smirk from her seat. "It's alright, Dromeda, thanks," she replied simply. She stuffed some food into her mouth so she doesn't have to talk much as the two sisters started discussing holiday plans.
