Draco could feel all the eyes of their schoolmates glancing or staring at Hermione and him while they walked hand in hand to go outside the castle. He escorted her towards the Hogwarts gates to go to Hogsmeade Village. It really feels good to hold her hand publicly, it makes his confidence soar that she's finally making their relationship known to others.

"Hey, what are you thinking about? You look so serious, Draco," Hermione asked him concernedly, seeing that he was in deep thought.

"Well, if you must know, I am just happy to be walking hand in hand with you in public," he answered honestly, looking at her straight in the eyes and giving her a small smile.

"Oh," she replied shortly, guilt creeping out of her. She wants to make it up to him, even if he says he doesn't mind keeping their relationship a secret, she knows it hurts him, maybe thinking she was ashamed of their relationship.

Hermione stopped walking, she pulled Draco to make him stop too. "I'm sorry," she told him sincerely, standing closer to him and putting her hands behind his neck.

"It's alright, don't worry about it," Draco replied, surprised at her reaction. "Really, it is okay," he repeated, seeing her seriousness.

Hermione surprised him even more when she stood on her toes to be able to press her lips on his. She kissed him right there in the middle of the road to Hogsmeade where everyone could see them.

Draco was so shocked, he was frozen for a second, but kissed her back afterwards, letting his hands trail  down her back.

Their schoolmates saw them kissing while they passed them. Some wolf-whistled, some showed faces of disgust or envy- Draco's reputation has improved the past days, people noticing his changes, and it doesn't hurt that he is sexy and good looking too.

Hermione and Draco kissed for a few minutes, not caring about what their schoolmates thought of it. They slowly let go, grinning at each other, then proceeded to their destination still holding hands.

They reached Draco's favorite fancy restaurant in Hogsmeade after minutes of walking. It was located at the outskirts of the village, near the sea coast. Posh stores were situated around the dainty restaurant.

Hermione has not been to this part of Hogsmeade before, and was surprised at the lavishness of the area.

Draco escorted her to the door of the restaurant and an older wizard greeted them.

"Good day, Miss Granger, and Mister Malfoy," the usher greeted them. "This way please," he added swiftly, leading them inside.

"Thank you," Draco told the man once they were seated inside a private room of the restaurant.

Hermione was quite nervous, not really used to elegant restaurants. She was quite feeling out of place since she saw that the other guests were wearing dress robes as they passed them on the main hall.

"Here's the menu, madam and sir," the usher gave them both a copy. "Enjoy your lunch," he added, nodding to them and going back outside.

"You choose anything you like, Hermione. I guarantee you, they are all excellent," Draco informed her, while looking through the menu.

"This place is just too fancy for me, Draco. I look so out of place with what I am wearing," she said quietly.

"You are beautiful in whatever you wear, Princess," Draco said, winking at her. "And those other guests are old fashioned, wearing robes at this time of the day, while we are both young and beautiful," he added grinning.
