Chapter 16- The Malfoys' Visit

Narcissa was in her bedroom trying to sleep when Harry's letter arrived. She couldn't sleep and was restless after she and Draco parted with Harry and Hermione that afternoon.

She dreaded opening the letter seeing that it was from Harry. She slowly opened it and sighed. Then she read the letter, re-read it thrice to be sure she had read it correctly.

Then she screamed in joy! She was so happy Andromeda agreed to see her.

Draco, who was walking on the hallway to check on his mother, hurried when he heard her scream.

"Mother, what is it?" He asked concerned. He had never heard Narcissa scream like that.

"Oh, darling! I have wonderful news!" She exclaimed. "We are to visit your Aunt Andromeda and your nephew, Teddy, tomorrow," she told him excitedly.

"Well, do I have to come too?" he asked scratching his head. "You should spend the time to talk with your sister, I don't want to mess it up," he added.

He really doesn't want to come at all, he'd rather stay at the manor alone. He is happy for his mother, seeing her so alive now after all the past years he could remember in his lifetime. But to visit his mother's exiled sister at her mudblood husband's house is too much! Considering he had just tea with Potty and the know-it-all mudblood just a few hours ago, he can't take another one of those meet and greets!

"Oh, please, darling! I want you to be there too so we can start being a family," Narcissa requested. "And I won't take no for an answer," she added sternly.

Draco sighed, seeing that arguing with her will get him nowhere. He can't say no to his mother even if his life depended on it.

Narcissa owled Harry after Draco went back to his room. She thanked him and Hermione for telling Andromeda that she wants to visit her. She was so excited to see her sister again!

In the morning after Harry's letter, Narcissa owled Andromeda to tell her that she and Draco will be visiting at lunch and that she should not worry about the food because she will just bring it.

She prepared the food with the help of the manor's house-elves. They cooked all of Andromeda's favorite dishes and also picked fresh flowers from the garden to be brought over Andromeda's.

Narcissa and Draco apparated at the Tonks' doorstep at exactly twelve noon. They casted a Disillusionment Charm quickly upon arriving there. Narcissa knocked on the door and they waited for Andromeda to open it.
