Hermione and Ron stared at each other's eyes for a few minutes before Ron spoke again.

"I love you, Hermione. You know that, don't you?" Ron told her seriously.

"Yes, Ron, I know, and I do too," she replied.

They were still holding each other's hands, and looking at each other's eyes.

"I love you so much that I want you to be happy, and I know that I can't give you the happiness you deserve. You deserve so much more than I can be able to give you," Ron paused, taking a deep breath before continuing. "You will always be my best friend, and my first love. I will always love you with all my heart. But, I don't think I could be in a proper relationship right now, not yet. I still need to mend myself, and I need you and Harry to help me through it. You guys are and will always be my best friends. I'm really sorry, Hermione. Please still accept me as your friend," Ron told her, tears pouring silently from their eyes.

Hermione was torn, her guilt of cheating on him resurfacing because of his words. It made her feel guiltier because he thought he doesn't deserve a cheater like her. She doesn't want to lose her best friend, she loves him so much even if she's not in love with him anymore. She decided she won't tell him about Draco, it will scar him more.

"I love you too, Ron," she replied, hugging him tightly. "I'm so sorry about everything," she told him, thinking about her secret.

"We are still friends then?" He asked timidly, looking at her in the eyes.

"Of course, Ronald! Don't ever think you can rid of me easily!" Hermione told him in mock anger to lighten the situation. She hugged him again tightly, happy that she still has her best friend, and relieved that she was not the one to break up with him.

Before they started their dinner at six o'clock, their guests, Andromeda and baby Teddy, arrived at the Burrow.

Molly hugged Andromeda, while Harry took Teddy from his grandmother. The older women proceeded outside to finish setting the table with food and with the cake Andromeda had brought.

Harry carried Teddy towards his best friends and girlfriend in the living room. Teddy was getting bigger and heavier, he is almost a half-year old now, and Harry was curious when he saw his eyes.

It was Ginny who pointed out loud about Teddy's eyes, saying it looks good on Teddy with his currently black hair.

Hermione looked at Teddy's eyes and saw Draco's eyes on him. She was taken aback and almost gasped out loud, which Ginny instantly noticed.

Ron told Teddy, (as if the baby could understand him) that he prefers him to have bright, blue eyes rather than the grayish one he put on today. The others laughed at this, but then Teddy changed his hair color to blue instead of his eyes, so they laughed more.

Dinner at the Burrow on the eve of returning to Hogwarts was always a pleasant affair. Laughs and stories were shared while they enjoy Molly's wonderful cooking.

The three best friends were talking and enjoying their last day of being together.

Ginny was talking with Percy about returning to school, while George joins to share some of his thoughts with them.

Bill, Charlie, and Arthur were discussing about their jobs.

The three mothers present, Molly, Andromeda, and Fleur, were talking about how to take care of young children and cooking healthy meals for them.

Baby Victoire and Teddy were sleeping peacefully in Victoire's crib while the adults talk and eat.

It was one of the most peaceful send-off to Hogwarts dinner they ever had.
