Chapter 14- Dinner at Andromeda's (Part 5)

After Hermione finished eating, she and Harry went to the living room to talk to Andromeda.

Ron was still enjoying the telly, and was laughing his head off watching a comedy show.

Andromeda was busy folding Teddy's freshly laundered clothes on the sofa.

"Andromeda, may we talk to you in private?" Hermione asked her quietly, not wanting Ron's attention.

"Alright, dear. Let's go out in porch, if that's okay with you," Andromeda answered.

"Okay," she agreed.

Hermione, Harry, and Andromeda went out the front door to the porch. Ron was still busy with the telly.

Once outside, Hermione casted a Shield Charm out of habit.

"What do you want to talk about? You guys seem serious," Andromeda asked curiously.

Harry looked at Hermione, she nodded to him so he started talking. "Well, you do know we went to Draco Malfoy's trial today, right?" He asked Andromeda.

"Yes, it was all over the papers only a few minutes after it ended. You two are very righteous and just, helping Narcissa's boy even though he had been nasty to you at school," she paused looking at Harry and Hermione's puzzled expressions. They were curious as to why she knows Draco's been nasty to them at school. "Well, I have heard Remus telling Dora before about my nephew, Draco. Remus said you three were Draco's favorite enemies," she continued. "So what about the trial? I imagine that Narcissa is so happy right now, having her son alive and free," she said without a trace of envy.

Harry looked at Hermione again, he wanted her to do the talking. Hermione nodded, and began speaking: "We had tea with Narcissa and Malfoy, I mean Draco, after the trial," she started.

"Why? I don't think you two will invite them for tea, but the other way around is just as impossible," Andromeda said unbelievably.
