After Draco left their dormitory, Hermione went to her room and cried. She knows that Draco was hurt and she wanted to give him the space he needs. She went to bed early and cried herself to sleep that night, forgetting about going to her Astronomy Class later that night.

Draco went to the Slytherin Common Room after leaving Hermione at the Head's Common Room. He was so pissed off and hurt that he was not thinking straight. He just wanted to forget about the hurt caused by his friend. He felt betrayed because she doesn't seem to trust him and thinks he's just a shallow person who just wants to pounce on her once she's single again.

"Severus Snape," he said to the snake statue guarding the Slytherin Dormitory. The stone snake hissed, then moved to reveal the Slytherin dungeons. Draco saw some of his housemates scattered in the Common Room. They all looked at him when he entered the room, surprised to see him there. This was the first time he visited the Slytherin Dormitory this school year.

"Hey!" Blaise walked towards him and greeted him, breaking the tension in the room. "Nice of you to visit us, Draco," he told his friend.

"Blaise," Draco nodded at his friend. "I have a few minutes until I have to patrol," he told his friend.

"Hang with us for a while then," the dark skinned boy replied. "Let's sit at our usual chairs," he invited Draco, tugging his arm.

They sat on the armchairs nearest the fireplace. Some Slytherin 7th years were also seated there, they looked at their housemate warily.

"Lighten up, guys," Blaise told the group surrounding Draco and him.

"Draco," Theodore Nott greeted quietly. "It's been a while," he added.

"Theo," Draco replied nodding to his old dorm mate. He always thought that Theodore was a mysterious bloke, not really speaking often during the years they shared a room. Even though Theo's father was a Death Eater, Theo was protected by his father from Voldemort, he was not forced to join the Death Eaters nor to join the battle at Hogwarts.

"Draco, I missed you," said Pansy, who had just been notified by one of the Slytherin girls, walked towards him. She quickly sat on his lap and embraced him.

"Get off, Pansy," Draco told her quietly, not really enjoying her weight on him.

"I missed you so much, Draco," she cooed, not moving an inch.

"Please just get off me. I just dropped by for a while anyway, I need to patrol the corridors now," he insisted, gently pushing her off him.

"Stay for a bit more, please?" Pansy pleaded. "You may stay at my room too, after your patrol. You don't have to stay with Granger at your dorms," she invited, holding onto his arm.

"Pansy, just please let go of me!" He hissed, just hearing Hermione's name makes him want to go straight to their dormitory and see her again. "I'll visit again soon, alright?" He added, seeing Pansy's tear filled eyes.

"Yes, please. Sit with us again during meals and classes, alright?" She suggested.

"Maybe," he replied. "Bye, guys," he told them, exiting the Slytherin dormitory.

Draco went back to the Head's Dormitory after patrolling for two hours. Since it was a Friday, he knew that Hermione is scheduled to go to her Astronomy class at 11pm, so he quickly went to his room so that they won't see each other.
