A Vampire's Love; the untold story

Chapter 58

 Kol walked by the room Davina chose. He looked through the half open door, and he saw her asleep on the bed. He smiled a bit, and closed the door. He wanted to call Elijah, he thought about it many times, but he decided not to, since he promised Davina he wouldn't, for now. Instead, he called Marcel.

 'Kol, what a surprise' Marcel said picking up the phone. 'Shh. Is anyone around you?' Kol asked. 'No. I'm alone, walking back to the loft. What do you want?' Marcel asked. 'I'm with Davina. You need to come over and talk some sense into her.' 'Why? What's going on?' Marcel asked. 'You'll find out when you get here. I'll text you the address' he said and he hanged up. He texted Marcel the address and then he heard Davina's phone ringing, she had left it on the couch. He looked at the screen, and it was Elijah. He ignored it and left the house. She would probably be hungry, so he wanted to have some human food in the house.

 Half an hour later, he had already put all the food in its place, getting Davina's favourite stuff, when he heard someone knocking on the door, knowing it was Marcel. He walked over to the door, and opened it, letting Marcel in.

 Elijah was starting to worry. 'Where the hell has she gone?' he threw his phone on the couch. 'Calm down, Elijah, she's probably fine. Have Freya do a locator spell, it's not hard' Klaus said. 'Freya is nowhere to be found either. I need to know where she is, she lied to me earlier, what has she gotten herself into?' Klaus sighed and poured a drink for his brother, and handed the glass to him. 'She'll be back at some point. Calm down' Klaus said and Elijah nodded, hoping nothing had happened to Davina.

 'Hold on' Marcel said gently closing Davina's door, as she was still sleeping. 'She wants to leave? They'll hunt her down if they find out' Marcel said. 'Exactly what I told her. She's making decisions without being rational, she just announced it and said she wouldn't change her mind' Kol said. They both walked downstairs, without saying anything. Marcel sat down and covered his face with his hands, like he was desperate. 'This is such a mess' Marcel said and Kol nodded. 'I know. We have to tell Elijah' Kol said and Marcel looked at him. 'No. You won't tell Elijah a word, otherwise I'll bite you, and good luck finding a cure' Marcel threatened. 'They'll kill her if she leaves' Kol said. 'Not if they never find out' Marcel said. 'You know that can't happen. What excuse would she even use to leave?' Kol asked. 'I don't know' Marcel said.

 'We'll say I left with Kol' they both heard Davina who apparently had woken up and started walking downstairs. 'No. Forget it' Kol looked at her and Marcel stood up and walked towards her. 'Are you okay?' he put his hands on her shoulders. 'Yeah, I'm fine. Just, trapped in this mess' she said and he nodded, and hugged her. 'I know. Don't you think it's kinda early to make such decisions, D? Wait it out' Marcel said. She pulled back from the hug. 'I can't. Elijah will be looking for me, I can't risk it' she said. 'I'll cover up for you for a few days. Then we'll see what we can do, okay?' Marcel said and she nodded. Then he turned to Kol. 'You. You can't meet any of your siblings. They might suspect something. So from now on you are extremely careful. Got it?' Marcel said. 'Yeah, what about Esther' Kol said.

 'That could be a problem. Where did you find her?' Marcel asked. Kol reached for the paper with the address on it, which he had left on the table earlier. He gave it to Marcel. 'Last time she was there. She could tell Elijah' Kol said. 'I'll take care of it. I just need to find out how to kill her' Marcel said. You need some of her blood, or something that's hers. Then break her connection to the Ancestors. You'll need Vincent or Freya. Once it's broken, kill her' Davina said. 'And are you sure that could work?' Marcel said. 'Yeah, pretty sure' Davina said. 'Okay. I'll keep Elijah occupied with all that, and I'll make sure I kill Esther before she says anything. Once we're done with that, I'll come here again. And I want you to think about it all, and tell me what you wanna do' Marcel said and Davina nodded. 'You take care of her or I'll kill you. Understood?' Marcel asked and Kol nodded. 'Wouldn't do anything else.' 'Whatever you need, call me' Marcel said and after saying goodbye, he vamped away.

 Davina looked at Kol. 'Hey, I got you some food. Figured you would be hungry' he said and Davina smiled. 'Thanks. I'll go and eat something' she said and she walked into the kitchen.

 Marcel left the place, with a thousand thoughts in mind. What was he supposed to do? Davina was his family. He couldn't rat her out. But then, he knew that if the Mikaelsons found out, they'd kill her. He walked to where Esther was last. He used his hearing, she was inside. He went there, and he knocked on the door.

 Esther opened it. 'Marcel, right?' she asked. 'Yes. May I come in?' he asked, looking at her, knowing he couldn't enter without an invitation. 'Yes. You can come in' Esther said. Marcel smirked, and stepped in. 'So, why would you come here?' Esther said, closing the door. 'No don't tell me, the witch told you what happened. I bet there must be a fuss in the Mikaelson home' she said. 'Yes, you created a mess' Marcel said, not revealing the fact that Davina kept her pregnancy a secret to Elijah. 'Well, you can understand, I have to make the vampire species disappear. You could comply, and agree to put your soul into a human, or a witch if that's what you'd like' Esther said. 'Come on Esther, you can't convince me to do that, you know you can't' Marcel said and Esther looked at him. 'Think about it. Rebekah will be human, every single Mikaelson will be human, you could live with the-' she didn't get to finish what she was saying, as Marcel snapped her neck with his speed. 'Well that's enough of that' he said. He kneeled next to her body and took her hand. He bit her wrist, and after taking a vial out of his pocket, he filled it up with her blood. He then used his speed and left the house, having the ingredient he needed to get her killed.

 He rushed to the compound, and went in. He saw Elijah and Klaus drinking. 'You should be thanking me' Marcel said walking in, catching the brothers' attention. 'And why should we do that, exactly?' Elijah asked. 'Because I know how we are going to get rid of Esther' he said and Klaus stood up. 'And what would be the way to do that?" Klaus asked, who was becoming more and more paranoid as the days passed. 'Cut her connection with the ancestors, with a witch's help, then send Esther back to hell, using her own blood' Marcel said and took out of his pocket the vial with Esther's blood. 'Where did you get that?' Klaus said, and Elijah stood up, and walked towards them. 'From Esther. I found her, snapped her neck, and got her blood' Marcel said. 'How did you find her?' Elijah asked. 'My vampires are all around the quarter, I found her' Marcel said. 'I'll get Vincent to do it. You two can stay with Vincent and I'll go kill her' he said and Klaus shook his head. 'No, I will out an end to her miserable life' he said. 'No, Klaus' Marcel said.

  If Klaus was around Esther he could mention Davina, and he had to protect that. But then, if he found out, he could just compel him, with Vincent's help. 'Okay. Klaus and I go to Esther, and you', he says looking at Elijah, 'you stay with Vincent.' 'Fair enough' Klaus says. 'Tomorrow. I'll get Vincent to do the spell' Marcel said. 'Okay, we'll all meet at the cemetery tomorrow' Elijah said. 'By the way, do you have any idea where Davina is? She lied about where she has gone and she isn't back yet' Elijah said. 'Yeah, she is with me. She'll stay with me for few days' Marcel said. 'Okay, I'll go and see her' Elijah says and he starts walking out, when Marcel puts his hand on Elijah's chest, pushing him back. 'She wants to be alone for a while. She doesn't want to see you' Marcel said and Elijah narrowed his eyes, tilting his head a bit, with a confused expression on his face. 'Why, why doesn't she want to see me?' Elijah asked. 'Apparently, you did something wrong. Let her calm down for a few days, she'll come back when she wants to' Marcel said and Elijah nodded. 'Which reminds me, I need to tell Rebekah to stay here for a few days' Marcel said.

 If Rebekah stayed with him, she'd know Davina wasn't staying with Marcel. So he texted her, after he left the compound. 'I told you, that girl would be trouble' Klaus said, and he received a death stare from his older brother. 'Shut your mouth for once, Niklaus' was Elijah's answer before he walked upstairs and into his room.
