Chapter 64

 She looked at Kol. 'Elijah's here' she said. 'I know' he said. 'He talked to me' he added. 'What did he say?' She asked. 'Nothing important. Look Davina, you have to tell him' he said and she looked like she was going to get pissed just by the thought of it. 'No. That's not going to happen. And shut your mouth, he might still be around' she said and he nodded. 'But Davina, they both need to know' he said. 'No, Kol. If you don't like it, you can go. I get that you don't want to keep lying to your brother, so I'm not keeping you here. You chose to stay with me and keep the secret. I'm not telling him, or her' she said. 'I'm not going anywhere, Davina. You know I love you, and that little girl. I wouldn't leave' he said and she smiled a bit.

'Good. Then shut up and don't bring this up again' she said and he nodded. 'Alright, I'm getting hungry, I'll go and feed' he said. 'See you at home' she said, and after he answered, he left.

 She checked on Elize, and then she called Marcel. 'What's up, D?' he said when he picked up. 'Hey, can you come at the park, something came up' she said. He could hear she was worried, so after answering and hanging up, he said he had to go to the people he was out with, and he left.

 In seconds, he was there, and he walked over to her. 'What's happened?' he asked her and sat next to her. 'Elijah happened' she said. 'What?' he asked. 'Elijah is here' she said. 'No way' he said. 'Well, he is. I don't know what to do' she said. 'For now, we're going home' he said and he stood up.

 Marcel took them both home. Elize was tired so she decided to take a nap, and Kol went home too. All three of them were sitting in the living room, talking. 'She's almost 7, Davina, she has to know' Kol said and Davina shook her head. 'Davina, I think Kol's right. As long as we can keep Elijah and Klaus from getting mad and killing you, you have to tell him' Marcel said. 'No. There's no way I'm telling them' she raised her voice a bit.

 'Davina, she's asked about him, many times, for how long will you keep telling her the same things?' Marcel asked, and she sighed, running her fingers through her hair, frustrated. 'I don't know. I don't know right now, all I know is that I want him out of town' she said. Marcel looked at her, and then at Kol. 'You know you can't just tell him to leave, and even if you do, he wouldn't listen' he said. 'You're right' Davina said. 'Look, I'll think about it, but not now. Her birthday is in a week, and I need to focus on her, not Elijah' she said. Marcel and Kol tried to talk to her, but she wouldn't listen. She soon went into her and Kol's room to sleep.

 'There's no easy way. I'm living with her, and she asks about her father all the time' Kol started talking with Marcel, after they made sure Davina was asleep. 'She's a kid, not stupid. She doesn't ask Davina that much, because she can understand that Davina doesn't like that conversation. Doesn't mean she doesn't ask me when she gets the chance' Kol said, and Marcel nodded, with a sad expression on his face. 'If she doesn't say anything, Elize will grow up not knowing him, and if she does, the Mikaelsons will kill her' he said.

 'She has to tell him though. You know I don't like them being close, but it's his daughter, I don't hate him that much' Kol said. 'And she's my niece, I don't like seeing her have so many questions about him' he said. 'I'll cancel with Rebekah, and stay here' Marcel announced. 'No. You go back, and keep track of Klaus too. We can handle Elijah being around for a while' Kol said. 'He'll leave sooner or later' he said and Marcel nodded, after asking if he's sure about it.

 After some time, Elize woke up, and so did Davina. Marcel made sure Davina didn't have a problem with him leaving, and they all agreed that they'd just wait for Elijah to leave. And they'd be careful until that happened. And then he left, to go back home, New Orleans.

 'Another year, another day that our house will be full of annoying kids' Kol said to Davina after they put Elize to sleep at night. 'Come on Kol, it's her birthday' Davina told him. 'Yeah, can't I just disappear on Friday, and come back when all the kids leave?' he asked. 'You can, even though we both know you won't' she said smiling. 'Right. I'll just tolerate a bunch of annoying little humans, for my niece's sake' he said. 'Okay, well I'm grabbing a blood bag and then I'm going to sleep' Davina said, standing up. 'Are you taking her to school tomorrow, or am I?' she asked. 'I will' he said and she nodded. 'Okay' she said. Then they both had a blood bag and went to sleep.
