Friday came. Davina and Kol had been bickering a lot, about him telling Elijah, and Friday had arrived. Davina had shopped for her daughter's birthday, decorated the whole house, and had kids coming in the house, the one after the other. Most of the parents left, since Davina's compulsion was persuasive enough, she had a bunch of kids there, she couldn't bother dealing with their parents as well.

Davina was mostly with the kids, or helping Kol bringing snacks and all the party supplies into the living room. Josh was dealing with the music, trying hard not to put the kind of music grown ups have in their parties. It was a pretty boring party, at least for the three adults in the house, the kids and especially Elizabeth were loving it.

When Davina was occupied with the kids, Kol took the chance, and walked in their kitchen. He got some packets of juice, making sure they were Elizabeth's favourite, and he dropped it on the floor, using some of his strength, making a mess. He looked at it, and walked out, signalling to Davina. She noticed him and got up, and went into the kitchen.

'What's up?' she asked and then she saw the floor. 'I accidentally dropped them' he said with an apologetic expression on his face. 'Shoot, is that the lemon juice? Elizabeth's gonna be pissed' she said and he nodded. 'I know' he said. 'I'll go get some real quick, try to clean up here' she said just like he expected her to. She walked out of the kitchen, grabbed her purse and walked out of the house. He texted Elijah, and he vamp-cleaned the kitchen.

He went into the living room and walked towards the kids, with a disgusted expression, since he didn't really liked kids, except his niece, of course. 'Elize, come on, I want to give you the gift I got you' he said, and she looked at him, her eyes sparkling, it was obvious how happy she was. He looked at Josh, who wasn't suspicious at all -thankfully- and took Elize by her hand, and went upstairs, into her room.

'Stay here for a second, I'll be back, okay?' he said and Elizabeth nodded. He went back downstairs, avoiding the living room, being completely quiet. He opened the back door, making no noise, and signalling Elijah to do the same, so Josh wouldn't realize what was going on. He just let Elijah follow him, and Elijah without making any sound as well, moved upstairs, and then Kol looked at him and whispered. 'You ready?' he asked. 'Not at all' he whispered back, and Kol opened the door, and walked in.

Elijah stood by the doorframe, his eyes immediately focused on the kid standing in front of him. 'Uncle Kol, where's my gift' she asked and then she saw Elijah, who was holding a pink-wrapped packet in his hands. 'Is that the one?' she asked again, pointing at the gift Elijah was holding. 'Kind of' Kol said. There was a silence, Elijah felt stuck for the first time in his life, not knowing what to do, or say. 'Yeah, alright' Kol said and walked to the door, and gently pushed Elijah in, and he closed the door behind him.

'I remember you, I saw you at the park' Elina said, looking at Elijah. 'Yeah, yeah you did' was all he could say. Elijah looked at Kol, maybe for reassurance, he didn't really know. Kol nodded, and Elijah kneeled, so he could be on Elize's height. 'Um, I got this for you' he said, and he gave her a packet, which obviously had some kind of book in it. 'Thanks, but I don't really like reading' she said, and Kol chuckled. 'Didn't take that from your father' he whispered to himself, while he was standing behind them, his hands crossed and all of his attention to the two members of his family.

'It's a personalized kind of book, it's more about what you write in it, not what you read' Elijah said, finally being able to form a whole sentence. 'Oh, okay' she said and she put it on her bed. 'So, who are you?' she asked, and Kol walked towards them. 'That's Elijah. He's' Elijah interrupted him. 'Kol's brother. One of the three brothers that he has' Elijah said, not being able to hear the word father, or dad quite yet. She looked at them, thinking, scratching her head a bit, since she was confused. Elijah studied her features, noticing family resemblance, he could see it clearly now. She had Davina's green eyes, but her nose was just like his, her hair wasn't Davina's shade of brown, but his. Even though it was styled just like Davina's. Her voice wiped away the thoughts.
