Chapter 60

 It had been a few days, and everything was quiet. Caroline had returned to New Orleans and spent time with Klaus. Freya was with Keelin, living her life. Rebekah stayed at the compound, and would go to have drinks with Camille pretty often. Hope was informed that they had gotten rid of Esther, so she visited her dad for a few days. Davina and Kol were actually getting along. Marcel would visit them and spend most of his time with the vampires.

 Hope walked in the main room of the compound, when she woke up, and saw Elijah just tossing his phone on the couch. 'What's up' she said and Elijah looked at her. 'Everything's good' he said and she nodded. 'Okay, well I'm gonna go have breakfast' she said and he nodded.

 The truth was that he had been trying to reach Davina, but she would always hang up on him. He was getting upset. That's when he decided to just go and see her, and talk to her. He left the compound, and started walking to Marcel's loft.

 'Morning' Kol said to Davina, when she walked downstairs. 'Good morning' she said. 'I got you breakfast' he said and she smiled. 'Thanks' she said and she walked into the kitchen. 'No, my favourite!' she shouted from the kitchen and he chuckled and just went on his phone.

 Marcel was leaving his loft when he bumped into Elijah. 'Elijah, where are you going' he said and he shut the door behind him. 'I want to talk to Davina' he said and Marcel shook his head. 'No, not gonna happen' he said and Elijah looked at him. 'I don't care if she does not want to see me, Marcellus, I need to talk to her and see what the hell did I do' he said. 'Nope, sorry, can't let that happen, the lady wants to be alone' Marcel said and put his hands on Elijah's shoulders and turned him around, and started pushing him to walk out. 'Now you are going to leave and whenever she feels like speaking to you, she will' Marcel said Elijah stopped walking and pushed Marcel's hand off of him. 'I'm not a child, Marcel, I know where the exit is' he said and walked out, Marcel followed him. 'Can you at least tell me what's wrong, I have no idea why she doesn't want to talk to me' Elijah asked and Marcel shrugged.

 'I don't know, she hasn't said anything to me, but I can tell you really screwed up, she doesn't want to see you' Marcel said and Elijah shook his head in confusion. 'It's been almost a week' he said and Marcel rolled his eyes. 'I don't know, I'm not getting involved, she'll talk to you sooner or later, now go' Marcel said and Elijah exhaled in anger, and sped to the compound, knowing Davina wasn't at Marcel's place, since there was no heartbeat in it.

 When Elijah was out of his sight, Marcel changed the direction he was going to, and he vamped to Kol's house, which was out of the quarter. He knocked on the door, and Kol opened it. 'Here he is, our usual visitor, Marcel, aren't you tired coming here all the time?' Kol asked, and Marcel pushed him a bit and walked in. 'Shut up Kol, he came to check on me' Davina said from the living room, and Marcel gave a fake smile to Kol, and walked to the living room, and sat by Davina. Kol closed the door and followed Marcel.

 'How are you, D?' Marcel asked. 'I'm okay, just how I told you when you texted me earlier today' Davina said, with a little bit of sarcasm. 'Okay, look, Elijah is getting suspicious. You need to make a decision. Today, now' he said and Davina moved a bit, suddenly feeling uncomfortable, and looked at him.

 'I still want the same thing. The past few days, I've grown to like the idea of having a kid, and I don't want it around the Mikaelsons. Especially Klaus' she said after a few seconds of silence and Marcel looked at her and then at Kol. 'Very well' he said and he stood up and walked in front of Kol. 'Will you help her?' Marcel asked him. 'No, absolutely not, they'll kill me if they find out' Kol answered. 'They won't, Kol' Davina said and stood up. 'They won't find out, we'll leave at night, and disappear, by the time Elijah looks for me, I'll be long gone' she said and he looked at her. 'Davina, messing with them is dangerous' Kol said. 'And messing with me is even more' Marcel said. 'I'm stronger than all of you, if I want to stop an original, I can' Marcel said and Kol looked at him. 'The only question is, do you want to help her, and are you willing to keep your mouth shut about this, forever?' Marcel asked.

 Kol looked at Marcel. For seconds, the whole thing unfolding in front of him. If he told his siblings, Davina would hate him. If he helped Davina, his siblings would hate him. But then, his siblings never really liked him anyway. For centuries he was daggered, while they were living, travelling, learning stuff and seeing the world for a thousand years. He didn't need them. But he loved her. He still did, even if she had broken his heart. He knew if anyone found out, it'd be over for him. But he'd risk it.

 'I am. I'll help you' Kol said. Davina smiled and hugged him. 'Thanks Kol' she said and he slowly hugged her back, looking at Marcel. They let go. 'Where do you want to go?' Marcel asked. 'I've thought about that. Elijah once told me Manosque was his favourite place. That's where I want his kid to grow up' she said. 'No, Davina, that's too far away' Marcel said. 'I don't care. The further, the better anyway' she said. 'Okay. You're leaving tomorrow night. You two get tickets, I'll make sure you two have a place to stay there, and everything you need. After that, you guys figure it out on your own' Marcel said.

 'Okay, thanks' Davina said to Marcel, smiling. 'Yeah, I'm going to get everything ready for you guys' Marcel said. 'Okay' Kol said and then after saying goodbye, Marcel left. Davina looked at Kol. 'Are you sure you want to backstab your siblings like this?' Davina asked him. 'Davina, love, I've been doing that for centuries. I can do it now, especially to Elijah' he said. 'Davina, if he find out, he'll kill you in an instant' he added. 'He won't' she said.
