A Vampire's Love; the untold story

Chapter 52

 He took his phone out, and called Freya, who picked up immediately. 'Freya, did they wake up?' he asked. 'No. Rebekah said their hearts are still beating, but they haven't woken up' she answered. 'Esther got to finish her spell' he said. 'I'm sending you a picture. See if you can recognize it' he said and he hanged up. He took a picture of the spell and the grimoire, and sent it to Freya. They both wondered how Esther had taken the book from the compound. Then, he left, and went back in seconds.

 'No, I don't recognize the spell' she said. Klaus had been there for a few minutes. 'I recognize the spell she performed to make you all vampires on the grimoire, but what she did there, no I don't know what it is' she said and she put her phone down.

 'What are we going to do?' he asked. Before Freya could state that she had no idea, both Elijah and Davina woke up gasping. Klaus stood up and looked at Elijah, completely ignoring Davina. 'Brother' he said. Elijah looked at him, and then he looked at Davina, who was as confused as he was. He stood up as quickly as he could, and went and sat next to her. 'Are you okay?' he asked, looking at her, while Freya, Rebekah and Klaus were watching. Davina nodded. 'Yeah, I'm okay' she said and he put his arm around her, pulling her close to him, while she leaned her head on his shoulder, and she felt safe. He was still holding her, when he looked at his siblings. 'What happened?' he asked, and he didn't move, neither did Davina, they just looked at the rest of the Mikaelsons. 'Our mother. She did some sort of spell on both of you' Rebekah replied.

 'What spell?' Davina asked. 'We don't know' Freya answered. 'Can I see it?' Davina asked again. 'I couldn't recognize it Davina, there's no way you would' Freya said. 'What happened with mother?' Elijah asked. 'I snapped her neck, left her where she was' Klaus said. 'But me and her are connected, Klaus. If you killed her, maybe she would come back but I wouldn't, at least not until she woke up' Davina said. 'Obviously not' he said. 'You were unconscious and she was doing the spell. She probably needed your blood for that spell, she just lied to you so we wouldn't try to kill her' Elijah said rubbing Davina's arm as he held her, so she wouldn't get upset.

 'Are you both feeling okay?' Rebekah asked. Elijah and Davina said they were just fine. 'Then what was the spell for?' Klaus asked. 'I have no idea' Davina said. 'That's what we need to figure out' Freya said. Elijah moved his hand, and stood up. 'Klaus, you get the grimoires back from our mother. Freya, you get Vincent. He's the Regent, the one who can help us with the ancestors' Elijah said, and he started walking to the door. 'What am I doing?' Rebekah asked and Elijah turned around and looked at her. 'You're making sure of Davina's safety' he said and Rebekah frowned, and so did Davina. 'Why do I have to stay here and be the babysitter?' she asked. 'Besides, I'm sure I can protect myself Elijah, I'm not a kid' Davina said.

 He sighed, and walked close to her and sat on the bed. He looked at his siblings, like he wanted them to get out. 'Move' he said and they all looked at him and walked out. 'Who the hell put him in charge?' Klaus asked pissed, and walked out after Rebekah pushed him a bit. 'Don't act like a baby' was the last thing she said before she shut the door. Elijah looked back at Davina. 'I don't need anyone Elijah, I'm safe here' she said and he nodded, while he tucked some of her hair behind her ear. 'I know. But Davina, you're alive now, and I need to know you are safe when I can't be here to protect you. I apologize if it makes you feel uncomfortable, but until I know no one's going to harm you, I can't change it. So you are staying with Rebekah' he said. She wanted to refuse, but the way he said it, he sounded so sweet, that she couldn't help but smile and nod. 'Okay' she said softly. He nodded in response, and kissed her forehead. 'I'll be back shortly' he said and stood up. 'Where are you going?' she asked and he sighed. 'To get back a brother that went missing last night' he said and walked out.

 Of course, Rebekah was out of the room, waiting for him to walk out. 'You can't go after Kol now' she said and he carried on walking, so she started following him. 'Why can't I' he asked. 'He's going to tear you apart before he comes back' she said. 'He can get out his anger, it'll be quick anyway' he said like he couldn't care less. 'Elijah, he will want you dead, he wants to kill you' she said. He turned around and looked at her. 'Let him try' he said, and then he left.

 Rebekah walked in Davina's room. Davina sighed and looked at her. 'You can go. I'm not a child' she said. 'I know you're not. And I could leave right now, but do you want to be alone?' Rebekah asked. 'No' Davina answered. She stood up. 'Get out. I need to get dressed' Davina said walking to her closet. 'Are you going somewhere?' Rebekah asked sarcastically. 'To Esther. She messed with us, and the rest want to kill her, I wanna know what she did' she says and Rebekah shook her head. 'Ah, no, forget it' Rebekah said. Davina looked at her. 'I'm not gonna stay here and wait for something to happen. Now you can either come with me, or let me go on my own' she said and Rebekah looked at her. 'No, Davina, Esther could kill you, and if you die on my watch, who says Elijah won't dagger me himself' she said. 'Fine. Stay here. Let's see how happy Elijah would be with that' Davina shrugged, knowing that Rebekah wouldn't let her go alone. Rebekah sighed. 'I know for a fact that he is going to kill me' she says and she walks out, to let Davina get changed. Davina chose the clothes she wanted to wear, and threw them on her bed. 'Only if he finds out' she said to herself, and got changed.

 Klaus had already gotten his mother's grimoire, when he saw Elijah in the quarter. Elijah spotted his younger brother, and walked towards him. 'Got the grimoires?' he asked and Klaus nodded. 'Luckily, she hadn't woken up yet' he said and Elijah looked at the grimoires. 'I can't find Kol, and Marcel's vampires haven't seen him anywhere' Elijah said. 'We don't need Kol. Not to mention, sooner or later, he'll show up. Let him do his thing' Klaus said and Elijah shook his head. 'No. Mother can easily use him, it wouldn't be the first time' he said. 'Soon we'll kill our mother, Kol isn't going to be a problem. So let's get back to the compound' Klaus said. Elijah thought about it, for a bit, and then he nodded. 'Okay. We should go' he said and they both vamped to the compound.

 Davina and Rebekah watched them from afar, waiting for them to move. 'Come on, now' Rebekah said when her brothers disappeared from the quarter. They both walked, Davina leading the way to Eshter's attic. 'Do you have any idea what you're getting yourself into?' Rebekah asked and Davina shrugged. 'I don't care. Everything's a mess, won't make a difference' she said and carried on walking.
