A Vampire's Love; the untold story

Chapter 32

*in the other side*

 Davina wakes up in the other side. 'My last trip here, I won't miss it at all' she whispers to herself, and stands up. It was her second time going there for one day, and she just got tired of it. She starts walking to the compound. She thinks that she can do it, and she is powerful enough to do it, and she knows it. She walks in the compound, and sees Elijah and Hayley sitting in silence.

 'Well that doesn't seem the mood you have to be in, considering you'll be back in life today' Davina says smiling, and both Hayley and Elijah look at her. 'Davina, respect the sacrifice Hayley is making and stop being so happy about it' Elijah says looking at her, and Davina rolls her eyes. 'Yeah right, sorry' she says and looks at them. 'Get up, we don't have time' she says and looks at them, and they both stand up. 'Where are we going exactly?' Hayley asks and Davina looks at her. 'To the cemetery. I don't have time to lose' she says and starts walking out, when Elijah and Hayley look at each other, and then follow her.

  They all three walk to the cemetery, without saying anything, there's silence between them, not awkward, since everyone has their own thoughts. Davina is thinking about the spell. She's worried if she'll achieve what she wants to, but at the same time she's confident and happy, knowing she'll bring Elijah back to life. A second thought comes in her mind, as she's thinking of what comes next. What happens when she brings him back? Will she have to choose between him and Kol, or he just won't want to be with her?

 Hayley, is scared. She's brave enough to be the one to take the Hollow inside of her, but she's scared of what's gonna happen. She has seen how the Hollow hurt Elijah, how it made him feel and hurt. She's scared that she will go through the same, but she doesn't regret her choice.

 And Elijah, is the most confused of all. In less than an hour, he'd be in the world of the living again. Alive, with his family, but without Hayley. He knew Davina loved him, but why was she doing it if she was with Kol? And what no one answered him yet, why five years later. Why did she wait for that long? And how can she possibly still love him when she left him? And what about Hayley, he cared deeply about her, and loved her, and she had to go through this just for him to be happy. How could he let her do that? That wasn't who he is and he knows it.

 Without any of them realizing, they were already in the cemetery, all of them. When they get to the spot that Davina would do the spell, Hayley hesitates. 'Wait, how do we know this will work?' she asks and Davina looks at her. 'It will. Trust me' she says and Hayley nods, but deep inside, she hopes it doesn't she is changing her mind, but she decides not to do anything about it. She promised Elijah she'll help, and she will.

 Davina sets up everything for the spell, as Hayley and Elijah are watching. As the time goes by, Hayley starts regretting it. She looks at Elijah, and is about to say something, when Davina notices it. 'Everything's ready' she says, stopping Hayley from saying whatever she wanted to. She looks at Hayley with a raised eyebrow, and Hayley nods. 'Okay, let's do it' she says. 'Elijah, stand there, and Hayley, I'll need you right over there' she says and points at two spots of the circle she made out of salt. Hayley and Elijah walk to the spots, and stand there, as Davina watches them. 'So, to be clear. No one interrupts me, and no one moves. Got it?' Davina says and Hayley nods, and Elijah doesn't say anything. 'Good. Give me a second' Davina says and looks at the ingredients, making sure everything is in place. Then, she takes a bowl and a knife. She walks towards Hayley. 'Well, I'll need your blood' she says and Hayley takes the knife, and cuts her hand. As she lets her blood drip into the bowl, she looks at Elijah. 'I love you' she says and Davina, takes her attention from the bowl and looks at her. She moves away from her and gives the knife to Elijah. She looks at him, and Elijah looks at Hayley, then at Davina. He exhales and looks back at Hayley. 'As I love you' he says and for a second he looks at Davina but he just turns back to Hayley. 'Davina looks down when she hears that and chooses not to say anything. Once she has enough of Elijah's blood, she walks back to where she had set the spell. She looks at them. 'Are you both ready?' she asks. 'Yeah' Hayley answers though she's not ready at all, and Elijah nods. 'Fair warning' Davina says and looks at Hayley. 'This is gonna hurt' she says and Hayley frowns a bit. 'Well, once we are ready, let's just start' Davina says, and takes a deep breath.

 Then, by memorizing the spell that Freya gave her, she starts chanting the words of it. Elijah and Hayley look at each other and just wait there, till something happens. Davina carries on chanting, and a few seconds later, Elijah feels a sharp pain on his chest, and then at his whole body, like someone's cutting him a hundred times all over his body. He moves a bit, and the pain just starts becoming stronger and stronger. He exhaled, and when he feels like he can take it, he feels like someone is staking him with something on his chest, and he yells in pain of it. Hayley looks at him, scared, and she regrets doing it. She looks at Davina and then at Elijah. Davina stretches her hands towards Elijah, and with her next words, she pulls out the Hollow of him. The huge blue light, moves away from him, and Elijah falls down on his knees, powerless, and looks at them. He breathes heavily, trying to calm down and then he looks at Davina, moving the Hollow up, yelling now the words of the spell, than just saying them. Hayley, looks scared at them. In a second, she takes back her promise. 'Davina don't do it' she says and Davina looks at her for a second and then ignores her and carried on with the spell. 'Please Davina don't do it' she says and Elijah looks at her, and sees how scared she is. 'Davina stop!' He yells at her, but Davina just shakes her head. 'Davina I said stop it' he says and he stands up, using every bit of strength he has left, and walks towards him. Davina looks at him, and she knows that he will stop her. She moves her hand in his direction, and with a move of her wrist, she snaps his neck. He falls down, and Hayley looks at her. 'Please Davina don't do it, please' Hayley looks at her, and Davina doesn't hesitate, when she hears Hayley's voice breaking, the way she begs her to stop. She says the spell once more, and moves her hands towards Hayley, moving the blue light towards her too. 'No, Davina, please, ple-' she says but she doesn't get to finish, because Davina puts the Hollow inside of her, making Hayley scream in pain. Once she's done, Hayley falls down unconscious, since she wasn't strong enough to carry the Hollow in her. And Davina knew it. Hayley's soul was destroyed, and her body would disappear soon enough, as the Hollow would disappear with it too. She looks at Elijah, and with a spell she speeds up his healing process. He wakes up, gasping a bit and looks at her. He looks at Hayley's body, and quickly he stands up. 'Hayley' he says and Davina gets in his way, as he starts walking towards the body. 'She's fine' she lies. 'She'll wake up soon. But we need to go now' she says and he looks at her. 'Just a moment' he says and Davina puts her hand on his chest pushing him back. 'We don't have a moment. We need to go now' she says, emphasizing her last sentence. He looks at her and then at Hayley, and then back at her. He exhales. 'Fine' he says and she nods, and starts walking to where she was going to perform the spell to bring him back.

 She looks up at the sky, and she sees the eclipse. 'We need to hurry up' she says and looks at him. 'She grabs his hand and rolls up his sleeve. 'What are you doing?' he asks confused and she looks at his watch. 'We only have two minutes' she says and she walks faster. 'I have to start the spell in two minutes so walk faster' she says and Elijah rolls his eyes and just follows her. 'What about Hayley, why wasn't she awake?' he asks, knowing that she shouldn't pass out. 'Hayley is fine' she says and he looks at her. 'What do you mean she's fine' he asks again and she exhales in anger. 'She just wasn't strong enough to stay awake, she'll wake up soon but we have to be gone by then' she says and they both get to the place she has to do the spell. She knows that Hayley's body would have turned to ashes by now.

 She looks around, and then at him. 'When you wake up there, you'll be extremely hungry. Feed straight from people, don't settle for a blood bag' she says and he nods. 'Okay, what about you, did you do a protection spell?' he asks and she shakes her head. 'No. The spell I'm doing here, Freya's about to start the same one there. As I'm pushing you to that world with magic, I won't stop when you go, I'll continue and so will Freya.' He looks at her and then up. 'The eclipse' he says and she looks up. 'I need to start now' she says and starts setting the spell in a hurry.

She starts the spell, and waits drawing magic from the eclipse.
