A Vampire's Love; the untold story

Chapter 41

 Klaus turns to Elijah. 'So she is back' he says and Elijah nods. 'We need to kill her' he says and Elijah sighs, looking at the floor. 'I don't think she'll make it easy for us brother. She said she's back for good' Elijah says and Klaus sits down, as his fist hits the table. 'What the hell does she want from us?' He asks, but he knows the answer. ' I think we have already established that she wants us dead. The question is how we kill her' Elijah says and Klaus looks at him. 'The way we've killed her thrice before. I'll call Caroline. I need to tell her to stay at the Salvatore school for longer' he says and he stands back up, and rushes out of the room. Elijah stays there, and takes one of the glasses on the table and lets the alcohol calm him down.

 Kol, Rebekah and Freya walk in Freya's room in the compound, and Freya looks at them. 'I'll go through mother's grinmoires. There must be something in there that explains how that portal works, she must have known what it is, we can find something, Kol, fetch me the books from the bookcase' she says and Kol walks to the bookcase, while Rebekah shrugs her shoulders. 'Well, I will leave you to that, unlike you two, I have absolutely no idea about magic' she says and Freya looks at her while Kol gives her a few of the books and sets the rest on a desk. 'It doesn't matter, we might need you, so you should stay. Kol please, go in Elijah's room, he has some grinmoires there too' she says and Kol nods, walking out of the room.

 He walks down the hall, and he walks past Klaus' room. He hears his brother talking to Caroline, and he laughs a bit, mocking Klaus' words. 'Just stay there love, I need to know you're safe' he says, laughing between the words. He hears Klaus growling and he chuckles. 'Kol stop listening to my conversations or I will put you in a coffin for a bloody century!' He yells and Kol laughs walking into Elijah's room.

 'I'm sorry for that, Kol doesn't know a thing about privacy' Klaus says and he hears Caroline's chuckle from his device. 'Honestly Klaus, no Mikaelson knows about privacy' she says and Klaus smiles a bit. 'Possibly' he answers. 'Just make sure nothing bad happens, okay? Me and Hope are safe here' she says. 'Alright' he replies. 'But Klaus, you know we have to talk at some point' she says and he nods, even though she can't see him. 'I know, and we will, once I take care of our new problem' he says. 'Okay, we'll talk later. Bye' she says, and after he replies, they hang up.

 A few minutes later, Kol walks back in Freya's room. 'Kol, I've been looking at these symbols for long enough, and I can't figure out what they mean' Freya says while she's leaning above her desk, and Kol walks towards her. 'Give me the book' he says and Freya hands him the book. 'This is the grinmoire our mother had, it has nothing to do with the portal, it's your immortality spell. But these symbols, I have no idea what they are' she says and Kol examines the symbols. He puts his fingers on the symbols, dragging them to the bottom of the page as his eyes open widely in surprise. 'It can't be' he mumbles. 'I've gone through our mother's spell books a thousand times, I haven't noticed these' he says and Freya looks at him. 'Well, what are they?' she asks and Rebekah seems suddenly interested, and walks towards them. Kol lifts his head up and looks at Rebekah. 'Go to Marcel's place. I need you to get me something' he says and Rebekah frowns. 'I have to play the fetch girl now?' she asks and Kol rolls his eyes. 'Go and get me the spell books Davina used to have. Her family's spells. And hurry up' he says. 'Why, what do these books have to do with the immortality spell?' she asks, having no idea what they're talking about, since magic isn't her thing. 'Just get me the books Rebekah' he says and she shrugs. 'Okay, I'll get them, but next time Freya is the one who goes to fetch things, I'm tired of that role' she says as she's walking out of the room.

 'Freya, isn't this Dahlia's fertility spell, the spell she did for our mother?' he asks, pointing at the next page of the book. Freya looks at the book, reading the spell. 'Yeah, but why is it in our mother's grinmoire, it's Dahlia's spell' he says and Freya nods. 'I know. Look at this' she points at a symbol, that connects the two pages. 'They're connected' she says and he looks at it. 'Those two dots' he says pointing at two stains on the book. He brings the book close to his face, and he smells it. He moves it away from him. 'It's very, very old blood. They're not dots, they're drops of blood' he says and he smells the pages again. 'And it's not from the same person' he adds. 'Well, we know our mother had the help of another witch to do the immortality spell, wasn't it a Bennett? Or an ancestor of them?' she asks and Kol nods. 'Yes, but what does the fertility spell have to do with the immortality spell for us?' he asks and Freya shrugs. 'I don't know. I've gone through this book so many times, I haven't noticed that or the connection between them. Maybe it has to do with the fact that you can't have children' she says and Kol nods. 'Yeah, it is probably that' he says and he closes the book. 'We should wait for Rebekah' he says and Freya sits on a chair.
