A Vampire's Love; the untold story

Chapter 17

Hope just entered the compound. She sees her family, sitting there, all of them silent. She sighs annoyed. 'Okay, now all of you, why are you like this?' she asks annoyed. Kol looks up at her and Klaus stands up. 'Hope, it's not the right time to show off how much you hated Elijah' he says strictly. 'Yeah, right' she says and her expression changes. The hybrid, looks at his siblings, and then at his daughter. 'Currently we lost a member of our family. None of us got to say goodbye. I just want to inform you all, that I am here, standing in front of you, because Elijah sacrificed his life. So I want to apologise, because that should be me.' His siblings look at him, as Hope rolls her eyes, not even want to hear anymore. 'None of us knew what Elijah was going to do, we weren't able to prevent it' Kol says and stands up. 'Kol's right' Freya says and stands up too, Rebekah follows. 'You shouldn't have woken him up, Hope' Freya says. 'And what was I supposed to do, let him die?' she says pointing at her father. 'Hope, I had taken my decision, it was final' Klaus says. 'How did you manage to turn his humanity switch on?' he asks and Freya thinks about Elijah's last words. 'He never turned his humanity off, for some reason, he pretended that he did' Hope says and Klaus looks at her, as all the other siblings, shocked.

'Talking about emotions and feelings' Freya says and looks at them. 'Elijah said something before he drove the stake into his heart' she says and Hope nods as she remembers. 'Yeah, and it's ironic that he said it now, he should have said it earlier' she says knowing Davina's and Elijah's story. 'What are you talking about?' Rebekah asks. 'He said to tell Davina something' Freya says and sighs. Kol narrows his eyes knowing what follows. 'No, not gonna happen, I'm not telling Davina' he says. 'He loved her Kol, she has to know' Freya says and Hope interrupts. 'I had a talk with Davina, she thinks that he didn't care about her' she says. Klaus rolls his eyes and sits down, having no intention to get involved in this. 'No, I will not tell her a thing, I won't even tell her that he's dead, I'll lose her' he says being serious. 'He's right, Elijah unfortunately is not here anymore, so the less she knows, the better, I don't like her' Rebekah says. 'She needs to know' Hope says. 'I'm sorry Hope, but it's not gonna happen' Kol insists and Freya looks at them. 'Davina won't know. It's not gonna change anything' she says. 'Fine' Hope sighs. 'Hope you need to find Caroline and return to your school' Klaus says and Hope nods. 'I will' she says and walks out.

The rests of the siblings sit down and they talk about Elijah. Kol looks at Rebekah. 'Can we talk for a second?' he asks and Rebekah nods, and they walk away from Freya and Klaus. 'Can you do me a favour?' Kol asks Rebekah. 'Yeah sure, what is it?' she asks while Klaus starts listening to their conversation. 'Can you tell Marcel not to tell a thing to Davina?' he asks and Klaus rolls his eyes. 'What is it about that girl that had two Mikaelsons fall for her anyway? She's just a small witch' he says annoyed. 'She's much more than that' Kol says. 'No she's not, and I don't get how she could wrap two Original vampires around her little finger' he says. 'Klaus, shut up' Freya says and Klaus rolls eyes annoyed. 'Marcel won't say anything' Rebekah reassures Kol and they both sit back down. They start talking about their brother, and what they have been through with him.

Davina walks to Marcel's loft, and walks in. She sees Marcel and Rebekah talking, but when they realize she's there, they immediately stop. 'Don't stop because of me' she shrugs and walks to them. 'I'm gonna lie down, I had a few drinks and I need more sleep' she says and Marcel nods, while the blonde Original avoids looking at her. 'Sleep tight' Marcel says giving her a smile, and she smiles back as she walks to the room of the loft she is staying in.

She changes her clothes, and then lies down. She goes through her phone for a while. Some minutes later, she feels her eyes closing, and she yawns. She puts her phone to charge, and then she gets under the covers. Soon, she has fallen asleep.

Marcel looks from the half open door at Davina. He walks back to Rebekah. 'She's asleep' he says and Rebekah nods. 'I don't like her' Rebekah states. 'Look Rebekah, I get that you don't like what happened between her and your brother, or brothers, but it's not her fault' he says defending Davina. 'Isn't it, she left Elijah, to get away with Kol, faked her death with him, after everything her and Elijah had been through' she says and frowns. 'To be honest with you Rebekah, I prefer her being with Kol rather than Elijah, Elijah would never be right for her, at least with Kol she doesn't have the problems she had with Elijah' he says. 'Elijah loved her' Rebekah says defending Elijah, and Marcel answers. 'And so does Kol. But Elijah is dead so let's drop this.' Rebekah nods. 'Yeah, but just don't tell her, okay?' she asks again. 'Yes, I'm not gonna tell her anything, it's better if she doesn't know about it' he says. Rebekah exhales and sits down, and Marcel sits down next to her. He reaches for a bottle of whiskey he has on the piece of furniture behind the couch, and opens it. He drinks, and Rebekah looks at him, and takes the bottle from him. She sips some of it, and gives him back the bottle. 'For what it's worth, I'm sorry for your loss' he says. Rebekah nods and he looks at her.

Kol is in the compound. He is packing his stuff, and when he walks out of his room, he bumps into Klaus. 'Leaving so soon, brother' Klaus says. 'Yes, I'm getting Davina out of here' he says and walks past him. Klaus grabs his arm. 'Stay, Kol. This is your chance to let the witch go, and you can stay here. Let's mourn our brother the way we should' he says and looks at him. 'No, Klaus, I'm taking Davina and I'm leaving the city, today' he says and pulls back from Klaus. 'Very well' Klaus says and sighs. 'Goodbye, brother' he says and looks at Klaus. The Original hybrid nods and looks at his brother as he's walking away.

Kol walks to Marcel's loft, being ready to take the girl he loves away from this town that gave her many bad memories to remember, and pain. He knocks and Marcel is the one to answer. 'Kol' he says and Kol nods. 'Hello Marcel, I'm here to see Davina, and Rebekah' he says and Marcel steps aside as Kol walks in the loft. Rebekah lifts up her head and looks at him. She stands up. 'Hey Kol' she says. 'Hello sister.' Rebekah looks at his small suitcase. 'You're leaving?' Rebekah asks and the smile on her face fades away. 'Yes' he says and Marcel raises an eyebrow. 'I don't want Davina to leave yet' he says and Kol looks at him. 'I don't think that's your choice Marcel' Kol says and looks at him. Marcel is about to talk, or yell at Kol, when Davina shows up. 'It's fine, Marcel, I want to go.' Marcel walks to her. 'D, you can always stay here with us' he says and Davina smiles a bit. 'I know, but I want to get out of this town. And this time I will leave properly, no lies getting in the middle.' Marcel nods and hugs her. 'Oh D, I will miss you so much' he says and she smiles in the hug. 'You can always come and visit' she says and pulls back. 'I love you Marcel' she smiles. He smiles back. 'I love you too D.' Rebekah can't help but smile, when Kol can't wait to leave. Rebekah walks to them. 'You know in the beginning, I really liked you, then I didn't' she says tilting her head a bit and rolling her eyes playfully 'but you deserve to be happy after all, so be happy, and take care of my mad brother' she says and they both chuckle. 'Davina, hurry up' Kol says and Rebekah walks to him. 'Have fun wherever you're going to brother, be happy' Rebekah tells him and hugs him. 'I will sister' he says as he hugs her back. 'I need to talk to Kol for a second' Marcel says and all three of them look at him. 'Alright' Kol says to him and Davina walks to the door with Rebekah. They start talking as Marcel takes a few steps away with Kol. 'What is that you want Marcel' Kol asks. 'I want you to take care of her. She's been hurt, and I don't want her to get hurt, ever again. If you hurt her, I will kill you, and you know I can.' Kol nods. 'I'll never hurt her, so you won't have to bite me anytime soon' Kol says and Marcel nods. Kol walks to the door. 'Ready to go love?' he smiles at her. 'I'm ready' she smiles and Kol takes her bag that Marcel just brought in. 'Goodbye' Davina says smiling at Marcel and Rebekah, and after Kol nodding at them goodbye, they both leave for the airport.
