It was Tuesday night. Everything seemed to go well. They hadn't seen Elijah around, except once, Kol saw him feeding one day, and they completely ignored each other's presence. Davina had gone to sleep, and Kol was still in the living room, thinking. That's all he had been doing the past two days. Thinking, thinking, and of course, thinking.

'Hey, uncle Kol' he heard his niece saying, while she was walking down the stairs. 'Hey, shouldn't you be asleep?' he asked her. She walked towards him and sat next to him at the couch, and he watched as she was doing so. 'I'm tired' she said and he smiled softly. 'Yeah, that's why you should be sleeping' he said. 'I don't want to' she said. 'Why?' he asked her. 'I am sad' she said with her childish voice, and he frowned. 'Why would you be sad?' 'Marcel won't be here for my birthday' she said. 'I know, but there will be other people, me, Josh, Davina' he said. 'My dad?' she asked. Kol looked at her, and he saw she was half asleep, but her eyes were still full of wonder, and hope. 'Ask mommy tomorrow' he said, having no idea what to say, and she nodded. She leaned on him and in seconds, she fell asleep. He carried her to her room and put her to sleep, thinking what she had said.

He left the house for a while, thinking of an excuse in case he got caught, got in touch with someone, and didn't go back for sometime. When he walked home, and walked in, he realized there was no going back. He either made a huge mistake, or it was the best decision he ever took.

The morning came, and Davina woke up, to see Kol already awake. 'Morning' she said. 'Morning' he answered while getting dressed. 'Can you wake her up, I'll still take her to school' he said and she shrugged. 'Okay, gives me time to do some shopping while you're at it' she said and he nodded. 'Okay' he said, putting his shirt on.

Davina walked to the littlest Mikaelson's room and walked in, and woke her up. She helped her get ready, while Kol was already downstairs, checking his phone. 'Hey, kid' he said when he saw his favourite niece walk down the stairs. 'Good morning uncle Kol' she said happily, already forgetting last night. He put his phone in his pocket, and opened the door. 'Have a good day' Davina told her daughter and gave Kol a kiss before he and Elize walked out. She walked back to her room, and got ready to go out.

Kol drove to the school after getting his niece breakfast, and he got out of the car. He looked around, and saw his brother standing exactly where he told him to. He walked around the car and opened the door for his niece. 'Come on, miss Mikaelson, you don't wanna be late' he said jokingly, and Elize smiled at him, and got out of the car. He walked his niece to the entrance of the school, and looked at his brother for a second, who was completely confused, after he heard his family's last name, being Davina's daughter's last name too. After his niece got in, Kol watched her, and he let Elijah go to him.

They were standing outside of the school, watching the kids. 'Are you out of your mind?' Elijah asked him, calmly. 'What are you talking about?' Kol asked. 'You let Davina's kid have our family's last name? Are you that much of a fool?' Elijah asked him, obviously pissed, but keeping his voice down. 'I had to, I'll explain it to you in a bit.' Kol said to him. 'Why did you tell me to meet you here anyway?' Elijah asked again. 'I have to tell you something. And you're going to listen to every word I have to say' Kol said.

'You have to be joking' Elijah said, they had walked away, went to a quiet place. 'I am not' Kol said. 'It's impossible, it's all lies' Elijah said again and again. 'I explained everything Elijah. It was all Esther's doing' Kol said, looking at Elijah. Elijah looked down, not wanting to believe what he had heard. 'So what you are saying is, that the girl you took to school today, the girl I saw at the park the other day, is my child?' he asked. 'Yes. She's your daughter' Kol said. 'And you and Davina had been hiding this from me' he said, trying to realize it. 'That's right' Kol said.

Elijah didn't say anything for a few seconds. He felt a lot of emotions at the same time. Sadness, anger. 'I am going to kill you!' he yelled at his brother, and vamped him against a wall, holding Kol by his neck. Anger took over. 'You've been playing dad with my kid, you've been hiding that I have a daughter!' Elijah yelled at him. 'At least I told you' Kol said and he pushed Elijah's hand off. 'At least you told me? Are you serious Kol? That's my daughter and I don't even know her!' he yelled again. 'And Davina, I will kill her for doing that' Elijah said.

'Why don't you just focus on Elize?' Kol said, knowing Elijah would never kill Davina, but now, he did have his doubts. 'Elize?' 'Yeah. Elizabeth. That's your daughter' Kol said. Elijah took a step back. 'I know it's a lot. But you had to know. Soon she'll be' he starts saying, but Elijah stops him. 'Seven. She'll be seven, right?' he asks and Kol nods. 'I don't understand. Why did she do that? We were okay, why didn't she just tell me about it and stay in New Orleans?' Elijah asked. 'She didn't want to raise her around Klaus. You know her. She isn't a big fan of that always and forever thing' Kol said. 'That doesn't give her the right to do what she did' Elijah said. 'I know it doesn't. Look, I don't like you, I don't even want you around Davina, but I can't just let her grow up without a father or you not knowing you have a daughter' Kol explained.

'I need some time' Elijah said. 'Yeah, alright. But you should know, her birthday is on Friday. I know it's going to cause problems with Davina, but you should come over' he said. 'This Friday? No, it's too soon' Elijah said. 'You'll have to do it, one way or another, so you might as well show up this year' Kol said. 'I'll think about it' Elijah said. 'What is she like?' he asked and Kol smiled. 'She's great. She's smart, powerful, nice. She's a lot like her parents' Kol said. 'She loves playing the piano, just like both you and Davina. Unfortunately, she did get the bad qualities too. Your stubbornness, Davina's temper' he described his niece. Elijah listened to him, carefully. 'What does she know about me?' he asked next. Kol shook his head a bit. 'Not much. All Davina has told her is that her father is a very good man, really strong, and that he loves her' he said and Elijah nodded.

'I missed it all. You were there, seeing everything, every day, and I missed it' he finally let himself get emotional. 'I should have been there' he said. 'I know. But you still have time to make it up. It wasn't your fault' Kol said. 'Of course it wasn't. It was yours, and Davina's.' Kol didn't say anything, he knew Elijah was right. 'I'll see you on Friday Kol' he said and then he disappeared from Kol's sight.

I'm honestly glad Elijah FINALLY found out.
