Marcel looks at Elijah. He lifts Elijah up on the wall, holding him by his neck. He shows his teeth, and all that Elijah could do, was cough. 'You are the reason she is dead' Marcel says, but his voice sounds calm, and Elijah doesn't say anything. He finds the strength to push Marcel's hand away from his neck, so his body drops down, and then he stands up, breathing heavily. Marcel looks at him, and growls a bit. 'You know I could just tear you apart right now? I could kill you in a second, and in fact, I would have completely no guilt' he says and Elijah looks at him. He yells, not being able to hold everything in him anymore, and of course, trying to convince Marcel that he did not want this to happen.

'You think I wanted her to die, Marcellus? She was the most important person to me, I never wanted her to die! I did love her!' Marcel looks at him, and he clenches his jaw. 'She wanted to bring you back, when she found out you died, it broke her.' Marcel says, and seems to calm down. 'Why didn't any of you tell her?' He asks, thinking he knows the answer, but he didn't. 'Kol didn't want to, and we thought it was unnecessary' he says and Elijah narrows his eyes, getting mad. 'Unnecessary? If she knew from the start, if she knew that it was what I wanted, she could have been alive right now' he says and Marcel thinks about it. 'You're right' he says, not loud enough, but Elijah's hearing allowed him to hear what he said.

'She, she was so ardent about this, the light in her eyes, the way she looked at me and told me that she was bringing me back' Elijah starts saying, and Marcel looks at him, remaining silent. Elijah notices that Klaus and Kol have left Davina's body on the floor, and he walks towards it. He falls on his one knee next to it, and Marcel watches him, not knowing what he was doing. He walks towards him, and stands over Elijah's shoulder. 'She looked me, right in the eyes. I remember what was the last thing she said to me' he says and Marcel looks at him. 'What was it?' he asks, and Elijah sighs. He rolls up his sleeves, and moves the sheet from Davina's face. He takes a deep breath, and looks at Davina's dead body. He looks the way her hair has been on her face, and he gets them out of her face, with his little finger and Marcel watches him. 'See you in a while Elijah' he repeats her words, and looks down on the floor. Marcel doesn't say anything, and Elijah covers Davina's face once again.

He stands up, and looks at Marcel. He takes a deep breath. 'I wish this never happened. I wish I was still dead. She would be here, living her life. Forgive me Marcel, I never wanted this to happen. I loved her'. Marcel looks at him, and he doesn't know if he should believe him. He sighs, and closes his eyes for a second. 'She wouldn't stop, no matter what. She couldn't let go of you' he says and Elijah looks down, nodding. Then he lifts his head up again, and looks Marcel right in the eyes. 'Marcellus, if you want to kill me, get on with it. I don't care if I die all over again' he says and Marcel narrows his eyes. The truth was, that even if he didn't want to die, he was hoping that Marcel would kill him. That way, he would just go back to Davina. 'After all, you said it yourself, it's my fault she's gone' he continues and Marcel exhales, looking down. 'I'm not going to kill you. As much as I want to blame someone else, Davina did this. And Klaus that stopped her. Davina's feelings for you brought this. Klaus is the one who stopped it, but he didn't even know what was gonna happen. So no, I won't kill you'. Elijah nods, not knowing what to say.

'You should take care of that' Elijah says and points at Davina's body. Marcel looks confused at him. 'I thought you would want to. You know, do all the funeral stuff' he says and Elijah shakes his head. 'I want to, but I cannot do this. I won't be able to handle it' he says and Marcel nods. 'Marcellus. Don't talk to anyone about the conversation we just had. I'll see you later' Elijah says, and he rushes out of the room. Marcel now, that he's left alone, he lets a few tears roll down his face. He goes and picks up the body, and leaves the compound, with his supernatural speed.
