It has been four days since I left the Blue Moon pack. A lot has happened and my intervening with them wasn't part of my survival plan. I should have left them to deal with the ferals. But my heart told me I should act as I did in my past life. I didn't want to get involved with them again, especially with Dominic.

That day, he looked at me as if he didn't hate me; instead, he had some doubts. I mean, we did date, and I was somewhat overly in love with him that I would do something crazy to be with him.

I was stupid back then, and dying from my past life gave me a wake-up call.

Now I need to find the primary source of the miasma and get rid of it for good. I had the twins scout the area, hoping to find anything to give us a chance to destroy it. I know it came from the demon world, but who would place something like that in the forest.

I look through all my notes and sources from where I've been and where the miasma had spread. So far, the miasma has appeared in Brazil, Japan, Scotland, and Tibet.

I reread my notes just in case I miss something important. After reading it over and over again, nothing came up.

I groan and lean against my chair, tilting my head as it rests on the cushion.

This isn't going anywhere. Saying that to myself, I decided to go out and jog around the forest to keep my cool.

Using my magic to switch out my casual clothes to work out attire. I head out and let myself consume nature—the sun beaming above me, the smell of fresh woodsy fragrance. I jog about ten miles without breaking a sweat. I have high stamina, and a simple jog doesn't make me exhausted.

After an hour of jogging, I headed back, and my whole senses made me stop and feel the presence before me.

"What are you doing here, Alpha?" I didn't say it in a rude tone but seeing Dominic sitting on the stairs of my farmhouse means he isn't here for just a visit.

He rose off the stairs, and I could help but admire his physic. His perfect structure is making my whole body want to ravish his body.

Oh, fuck!

Stop Lippy!

Me and him? I will never go down that road again.

I shake my dirty thoughts and cross my arms over my chest, unhappy.

"Where are your friends?" He starts by asking about the whereabouts of Camila and the others.

"I had the twins do some errands for me, Camila is training with Kaze, and Takkar is in his cave behind the barn. Why?"

"Just asking because it seems quiet and...peaceful here." He says. "I can see why you like it."

"Are you just going to have a casual conversation with me, or what's the real reason you are here?"

I don't want to be a bitch, but I had to ask why he suddenly appeared at my doorstep.

"There's going to be a meeting with the Brotherhood of Lucia in two days."

I made a gesture to him that why does it matter to me. "And? You came here just to tell me this?"

"No, yes...I came here to ask if you would like to go with me to attend the meeting?"

The Brotherhood of Lucia, it's meetings are meant for leaders all over the world. It's a big event because the meeting will take place in Romania, at Luná de Argint (Silver Moon) castle owned by the five Elders, who are compelling people. It consists of five leaders from different species; werewolf, vampire, fae, dragon, and dwarf. And unexpectedly, one of the elders is Dominic's grandfather, Ephraim Eldings, the werewolf monarch.
