"Get them!"

The three of us, Camila, Kaze, and I, all swift from our stance and attack them.

I dodge and swing my daggers at the demons charging my way. Kaze and Camila are taking down every demon. My main focus was on Leah. Her demonic black eyes were on me as I kicked in the pace.

"This has to end, Leah," I mutter. "No more cowering."

Running with light speed, I stab the last demon in the brain and jump above her. Leah's head tilts as I skydive to her, grip the ends of my daggers tight as I calculate the possible hit. With the sharp ends of my blades, I aimed for her head, but in a flash, she swung her arms and dodged the incoming counterattack.

I had my blades disappear, deciding to use my fists instead. I repeatedly struck at her head, but at the same time, she had it covered by aimlessly moving her arms around, preventing me from taking her down. I need to figure out a weakness. I need to stop this nonsense without killing her.

A hard impact of her fist had me flying back as I skid on the floor to lessen my fall.

"You think you can defeat me!" Leah releases a roar. "I'm more powerful than you! This is what a Luna should be!"

I scoff at her proclaim. "You are delusional, Leah." She pauses and glares down at me. "Yes, power means everything as it's one of the recognition of being a leader, but there is one thing you forgot. To be a leader, you need the trust of your people, like Kaze and Camila, and my friends back home. Those who look up to you will support you. True, the Blue Moon pack members see a potential mate for Dominic just because you are loved by parents who spoil you and friends who stick closer to you to kiss your ass. But once they learned you made a deal with demons to cheat your way of power, you are nothing."

"Shut up!" She shrieks. My words had hit her like a ton of bricks had fallen from the sky, made had her furious. Leah came at me as I dodged her in time. She arrived at me like a mindless rabid dog, and her raging eyes focused on me. "You know nothing!"

"I know nothing?" I jump before she takes a swing at me. "I know everything about you. Since when we were kids, you hated me from the start. You made my life like hell."

Leah huff and grunts, not taking a hit at me. She roars, frustrated.

"I don't know what I did wrong, but you made sure you had everything just to show how much your better than me," I tell her and block her sharp claws before it takes a nap at my neck. I twirl and kick her in the stomach. Leah staggers back.

"I hated you. Alpha Marcus and Luna Lisa cared about you than me. I was like their daughter until you showed up. Dominic even took your side." Leah growls, swinging her hands. "Everything was perfect. I had it within my grasp until you ruined it. You ruined it all for me!"

"I ruined it for you? That is bullshit," I tell her, kicking myself back when she slammed her hands. "You had everyone who loves you. As for me, I was left behind. All this time, I thought my parents didn't want me that they didn't love. Even though Dominic's parents cared for and loved me, they treated me like family. I still felt alone my entire life, but the truth is they did that to save me." I can feel the anger inside building up and trail to my fists and punched Leah in the face, and she staggers back.

"I thought I have a family I can settle with, but it seems you had everyone turn their back against me. Why? Because I was wolfless? An outsider? It wasn't my fault when you put aphrodisiac in your soup to frame me. I wasn't the one who got drugged and slept with Greg."

"I wonder whose fault is it that I lost my virginity," Leah growls, baring her fangs as she tries to lash at me with her claws.

"Greg? Greg Stanley? Rhonda's mate?" Clayton asks, can hear the amusement in his tone. "No, fucking way."
