"Maple, you're-" in a blink of an eye, my mother has the sharp end of the spear at the nap of Demir's neck.
Demir has his hands up, shaking. "Does my brother know about your identity?"
"He knows."
"My brother knows, and yet you didn't kill him," Demir's voice got icy. "We are mortal enemies."
Demir is trying to make a point for my mother to understand the estranged relationships between two immortal beings.
"When did you reclaim your memories?"
Maple glares at Demir, holding back her anger. "Before Ruvik and I got married."
"What?! Then why didn't you kill Ruvik? He's a demon, and you're a celestial. You are supposed to defeat the evil," Demir smirked, taunting her.
Maple poked his neck as he let out a nervous laugh. "Hey, easy on that weapon."
"I wanted to. I wanted to kill you as well. But Ruvik, although he had killed so many of my people. I couldn't kill him. He didn't want war. You did. You want to prove to your father that you are a much better candidate to take the throne by killing my people and taking innocent lives." She explains.
"Ruvik was different." My mother continues. "He saw what the war did to his people. Ruvik tried to stop it, but his title as a Demon Lord wasn't enough to stop it."
I watch as her violet eyes glow, furious. The sharp end of her spear poked Demir's skin, a tiny droplet of his blood leaked.
Suddenly, out of emotions, Demir's eyes soften. He took her hand into his hand and kissed it. "You are so beautiful even under all this anger towards me. The moon brights over you, making your silver hair even more magnificent, just like the day I first met you."
My mother gripped the spear in her hand in a clench and gritted her teeth. "I won't fall for those honey words from you. You and Ruvik may be brothers but have two different personalities. I treated you as a friend. I did care for you, but to achieve what you want, you do such malicious things, especially to your brother."
I watch Demir's veins pop and explode an amount of magic that blasts my mother off. She landed safely and held her stance. "My brother doesn't deserve the things that are meant to be mine." I watch his body transform into a fox, but he only has four tails, unlike my father.
It has been said the more tails you have, the more powerful you are and are inherited from one parent to child. Assuming their father has nine tails, my father has nine, I also have nine, but Demir only has four.
I wonder why a demon like him to cause such rebellion against his brother is so powerful with just four tails unless someone is helping him.
But who?
"If I can't have you, then no one will. Not even my dear older brother," his voice turned from ice to evil, deep and dark.
Demir's body starts to alter his fox form into something ferocious. His muscles began to bulk, grew twice as large, his height taller than the trees surrounding the forest, black fur starts to cover his whole body, even the clothes he's wearing. His nose and mouth stretched out as he bore sharp canine fangs. His red eyes are burning with anger. I never felt so much hate and evil emanating from his powers. His powers are way overpowering those around him. I can see why my father wanted to stop him because he indeed turned into something eviler than a demon.
What can be eviler than a demon?
The world...no, the whole universe is still being discovered even in the pits of the unknown.
