Experiencing that plane ride with Dominic and his group, I'm starting to dislike air travel. If I'm riding on the same transportation with Leah, I don't know what I will do, but it won't be pretty.

We step forward in front of the gate. I feel an overflow of magic surrounding the castle—a protection barrier created by the faes. Though visible to the human eyes, I can see it shimmering.

I became hesitant going through the barrier, worried that my presence could trigger an alarm system to alert the elders that a demon had entered the premises.

"Are we going in?" Camila asked and noticed I hadn't made a step forward.

"Yeah, give me a minute. There is a force field covering the castle, a barrier. It prevents anything evil from entering."

"Master, you are a demon. If you touch the barrier-" Kaze sounds flustered."If anything happens, get ready for me to teleport you two as far away from here. Got it?"

"Got it," Camila and Kaze say in unison.

I took in intake of the air surrounding here and let it out in one heave. One step at a time, I approached the barrier. Closing my eyes without looking, with my guard up that if anything happens, I have to make it quick to send Camila and Kaze away without having them get hurt.

Stepping in the gate, I pass through the barrier, feeling its warmth and tingling as it caresses my body. Waiting for some alarm, my heart drummed as I peek an eye open and roam my eyes around. Nothing happened, and it hit a wave of relief flowing throughout my body. So glad I wasn't found out. "All clear."

"Man, that was pretty intense," Camila says. "I thought we were going to fight our way in."

"There are pretty powerful people here, Camila." Kaze states. "With only the three of us, including Master, who is stronger than us, we have no standing chance of winning."

"Yeah, you're right. But look at this place," the young jaguar shifter gaze upon the Luna de Argint and its structure, and gasp with glimmers in her eyes. "This place looks amazing. Can't believe this place was built 500 years ago."

I study the exterior of the castle design. It sure can capture the eyes who find this place remarkable. It has that eerie yet fantasy-like feeling like you've brought in another dimension.

The castle stood tall as it almost reached the sky, touching the clouds. Thin walls made of white stones with elegant windows are scattered generously across in an asymmetric pattern, with symmetric crenelations for archers and artillery. Statues of the elders are lined up outside of the castle front, serving as a reminder of their leadership. My eyes gaze upon a sculpture that resembles Dominic.

Bringing up Dominic and after what happened in the plane, a punch of agitated gnawing at me. I can picture the expression he showed me before I left. He didn't want me to go and wanted to explain why he decided to take Leah along. I'm still pissed off she tagged along because she's the future luna. The thought of her standing beside Dominic's side as his part of leadership for the pack makes my insides feel uncomfortable. Like I wouldn't say, I like the idea of having her as my sister-in-law - I hate it. I don't want her being with Dominic. But I couldn't be forceful to him to who he chooses as his mate. Not like before.

I already declare us as siblings and work things out between us. So, am I becoming even more selfish than before in my past life? All the things Leah did to me were to drive me out of Dominic's life. I couldn't fight back because it would make Dominic upset. In the pack, I allowed people to trample over me like trash, I am an outcast who was brought in the Blue Moon Pack, and because Marcus and Lisa treated me as their own, I used their parents' love and pampered myself to stand by next to the next alpha. But I was wolfless, and everyone in the pack hated the idea that trash like me to be their leader in my past; I was called a villain because I would lash my anger at Leah, who started it all. When I try to explain, I get cold, vicious glares.
