I stirred in my sleep as commotions had me wanting to open my eyes and see what the fuss was about.
Slowly raise my eyelids with my vision impaired for a second until I can glimpse a rocky ceiling. A droplet of water touches my cheek and helps me get a clear view of my surroundings.
"The Princess is awake!" cries a tiny squeaky voice.
"Princess is awake! Hurry, someone, go and let Lord Ruvik know. Hurry!" says another as multiple squeakers enter a frenzy.
I rise, using my elbows to push me up to glimpse the tiniest creatures, even shorter than Feno, running all over the place as if there is a fire.
Once I raised my head, I caught my head as I felt the pain when you have a hangover and don't drink. My head feels like a balloon, ready to pop any minute.
When I straighten my back, I felt a poke in my back, making me inhale sharply at the pain. I reached to rub it, but when I did that, something else poked me, and I was groaning in ache all over my body.
"You shouldn't be moving."
As my heart races, I snap my head to see a shadowy figure by an arch door. I raised my arm to conjure my magic, but with discomfort, I put my arm down and grabbed the nearest object to use as a defense weapon instead.
Yeye told me that any objects around could be used as a weapon in a dire situation. I grabbed a sharp broken piece of the shard and aimed at the mysterious person before me.
"Who are you?" I growl as I have my magic on the shard to be used as a laser gun if this asshole takes a step closer.
Then without a movement, a wave of magic slaps the shard of my hand. "Children shouldn't be playing with dangerous things. You can get hurt."
He seems amused, yet I growl at him for calling me a child. "I'm twenty years old, not a child."
"To me, you are a child."
"Who the fuck are you?" asked the second time, irritated. "And what happened to Demir- cough."
I wheezed out a cough, and suddenly someone rushed to me with a cup of water. "You shouldn't aggravate yourself after that fight." says the mysterious man as he helps me drink water to clear my parched throat.
I had forgotten I was almost choked to death by Demir, and if it weren't for this man to come to my rescue, I would never see my friends again.
For someone as powerful as Demir has quickly subdued him. I know I saw Demir run off after being thrown. I felt that eminence power coming from this man. With one move, he flicked Demir like an annoying pest. And Demir couldn't fight back and instead ran like a bitch.
Then this man is someone of great power, and I shouldn't make him angry but instead should be grateful for saving my life.
After quenched my throat, I glanced up and said nothing but stared at the man.
My heart raced, and my mind just got blown by the man I'd seen in my memory. The lost memories that I regained. I remembered every detail of him. His long black straight hair glistens with such smoothness and no damage, and his face has never changed; chiseled and robust jaw and a perfect nose. But what caught my attention more was his eyes, those violet eyes that I share with him. They were red like other demons, they go red when he shifts into his other form, but those eyes showed his love for Mom.
Waves of emotions brought tears into my eyes as I continued to stare at the man I despised for abandoning me, for not saving Mom after she sacrificed.
My dad is the man who saved me and is right next to me.
