"Lippy? Lippy, it's okay. We aren't going to hurt you."
I don't want to look back. I don't want to see those monsters.
Why am I here?
Where is Nick?
I shake and shiver as I slowly turn my head to take a peak. Those strangers are still there. I cowered back, hugging myself tight as I heard their conversation.
"Poor Lippy, what are we going to do?"
"How did this happen?" Says the voice, which I found gentle and warm.
I take another peek to see who's talking.
"This never happened to demons," says the one with the long pink hair. She looks pretty.
"Higher rank demons will lose strength if they use too much of their powers and become small like a child but still have their state of mind," I stare at the blue-haired man as he talks about powers and demons.
Do they exist?
"For our master's case," I gasped once blue hair man made eye contact with me. I hide my face. "We've seen her father turned into a child before. This would be the first that we ever seen."
My father?
Do they know my dad? Where is he? Why doesn't he come for me? What about my mom?
I wanted to ask those questions, but I don't know these people, and they could be tricking me into coming out from hiding.
All I know is that Alpha Marcus found me, left behind and alone.
Why did my parents abandon me? Did I do something wrong that made them not want me?
"Boran, is there anything to bring Lippy back to normal?"
The room got quiet, and nobody seemed to be talking anymore. I peer around my hiding spot, and an old man's face up closed surprised me as it almost made my heart pop out.
I back away from him with a beating chest.
The old man smile. "Don't be afraid, little one, and I'm not here to hurt you."
"Stay away..." I quiver, my back against the wall. I am looking side to side, finding a way to escape. But my feet wouldn't listen to me. "Alpha Marcus...Luna Lisa...N-Nick...where are you, Nick...?"
"Oh no, don't cry, child. There is nothing to fear."
I burst into tears and cried. I'm so scared and alone there is no one to save me this time.
"I want to go home!" I cried.
"Lippy."
I look up at the sound of that man's voice. The one who's has chocolate eyes. I sniffle and somehow calm myself.
"It's okay," he crouches down to his knee; he pulls in a smile. "This old man won't hurt you."
I glance at the old man with his continuous grin.
"I won't hurt you."
"W-where is Nick?" I ask him.
"Who's Nick?"
"He...he's my..." my face heated up as I looked away. "Nick is someone special to me. When I grow up, I'm going to be his wife. I'm not a wolf, but that doesn't matter as long I stay with him forever."
I know my Nick won't leave me in a place like this. He will find me. I know he will. Nick wouldn't leave me in danger.
Nick is my protector.
