"Dad," I called out once Dominic and I entered Galvin's office. "You wanted to see me."

Dad's eyes glared at Dominic until they softened when he saw me. "It's about the child."

"What about Michael?"

"Lady Lippy," Galven lowered his head as he greeted me. He used to call me by my higher title, but like I said before, calling me princess still feels a bit weird. "Your father, Lord Ruvik, had informed me about this child and his relation with Demir."

"Yes, can you remove the seed?" I asked.

"Unfortunately, it is not as easy as it looks," giving off a disappointing look. "This is forbidden dark arts that I cannot undo someone else's work as a physician and studied the forbidden magic."

"So, there is no way?"

Galven shakes his head. "I'm afraid not. Lord Ruvik had tried using his magic to remove the seed, but doing so would harm the child."

I gasped and went to Michael's side to take his tiny hand. "Is he okay?" Worried and fearful flushed my face, learning that the baby was hurt by magic.

"The child is surrogated through a human but has the blood of a demon. It may have hurt him, but he heals like any other demon."

A way of relief left my soul as Dominic came to my side. "Thank god," I sighed. "So, do you have other suggestions or options for removing the seed? If Demir takes this baby's life, he will die and revive an evil being to destroy the world."

"There is one, and that is why I have asked Saye to call you."

I furrow my brows.

"You've removed a seed before."

I glanced at the twins and the prominent muscle doctor whose shirt was too tight. "Yes..."

"Then you can remove it," Galven chimes. "The twins had taken me the heroic deed you did with that lycan. May I ask why you didn't remove the seed on your own? You can easily do the task, my Lady."

I blinked and hadn't realized it myself.

I do have the power to remove the seed because of my blood, well, half the reason for my blood.

"I wasn't sure if it was safe for me to remove the seed from Michael," I told them. "He's just a baby. Dad had already tried his magic. What if I hurt him too."

"Lippy, you have light magic that can kill a demon but also heals," Dad explains, sounding determined about my abilities. "With light magic, you can remove the seed. If you have done it once, then you can do it again without harming the child."

I glance at the sleeping child on a stone bed covered in a soft cushion. I caressed his tiny hand and inhaled sharply.

"Don't worry, Lippy," Dominic whispered in my ear. "I know you will never hurt him. He's our child, after all."

I look over my shoulder and smile at him. A small emanated magic radiating from my Dad had me gesturing him not to do anything because Dominic was touching me. Galven and the twins noticed his behavior but intended not to interfere.

"You can do it, Master," Saye cheered.

"We believed in you," Arlo added as the twins cheered me on.

I looked over at Dad and then at Galven, who gave me a nod. After one last look at Dominic, I looked down at Michael as he squirmed in his blue blanket.

I outstretched my hand and closed my eyes, concentrating on the light magic inside. I had it built up in my hand as I felt the warmth.

My heart is racing, and my body is trembling as I lower my hand and hover it over Michael's chest.

I froze.

"Lippy, baby," I look at Dominic. "It's okay."

As he assures me and tells me, everything is okay. I went back to the process. This situation is different. This wasn't like Leah when she consumed the seed. This was implanted by an evil and disgusting man who uses his blood as a sacrifice.

I slowly lowered my hand and grabbed the seed. I flinched a little when Michael rubbed his tiny eyes and yawned.

"Don't worry, my Lady. I gave him something to keep him asleep throughout the procedure." Galven says. "You should be fine."

"Okay," I breathe.

With the seed grasped into my hand, I felt the light magic flowing through me as it passed onto Michael. His body was radiating in gold. All I have to do is think of healing him, saving him from his suffering to be used as a resurrection sacrifice for that bastard.

I will not let him hurt an innocent child. Even if Demir is his father, no parent should ever harm their children.

The anger pent up, and the thought of protecting not just Michael but the people I cared about was. The light magic had gotten stronger. I can feel it running through my veins with such powerful force.

"What is happening?" Saye asked.

I wasn't aware of the situation with my eyes shut as I concentrated on removing the devil's seed.

"The whole cave is shaking," Galven stated.

"This is different from when she fought with Leah," Arlo says.

The more I concentrate, the more I feel the power of light inside me. Arlo was right. Something about this magic seems more robust and controllable.

"My Lord, we must evacuate," Galven calls out.

"No, it's almost over."

I squeezed the seed tight within my hand, never letting go until it was removed from this child.

"Lippy."

I hear Mom's voice in my head. "Mom?"

"You have gotten stronger, my love."

"Huh? What are you talking about?" I asked.

"You've finally awakened the will."

"The will of what?"

I felt Mom smile through my mind. "The Will of Fire."

Suddenly something burst inside of me, and soon the warmth grew hot, but it wasn't burning me. I had never felt this kind of magic before. It exploded like a volcano, and as soon I used that magic through the seed, it was finally turned into dust.

Finally released the danger from Michael as he is no longer Demir's pawn of resurrection. Now Demir can go fuck himself and find someone else to bring him back.
