Kim Namjoon aka RM
At first, when Areum first met Namjoon, she felt quite intimidated because of his large stature but after seeing his dimples and smile she warmed up to him. Namjoon is the reason why Areum didn't fail at school. Whenever she was struggling to do homework, he would always lend a helping hand, in this case, his brain. After realising Areum couldn't afford books growing up, he brought his collection and told her which ones to read. Areum, after this, became quite smart and obsessed with Harry Potter.
With Namjoon having a high IQ and Areum having high intuition and being observant, both of them can become a very powerful, unstoppable duo in Run Bts. For both of them, English is their second language and they have become quite fluent in it, both of them become the translators for the group. Namjoon has admitted that even though Areum is the youngest in the group, she is a great person to talk with when facing a lot of adversity as she is a great listener and doesn't judge the situation badly.
Areum loves Namjoon dimples and pokes them. She really admires his intellect and how he still values education despite being a celebrity. Areum understands Rm's struggles with his appearance and doesn't stop when it comes to complimenting him because she believes that he has some ethereal visuals and an amazing rapping ability she wishes she could have. Areum also admires Namjoons ability to write such poetic lyrics but does laugh at the guides he gives them.

"I like small and tiny things, Areum happens to be small and tiny compared to the rest of us. I remember when Areum use to be so shy with us and would only talk with Suga and now she is savage, sarcastic and talks a lot..... I miss the old times."
