Jack O'lanterns haven't always been carved on pumpkins. The origins come from an Irish myth, Stingy Jack. It is said that he tricked the devil for his own gain and when he died, God didn't let him into heaven and the Devil didn't let him into Hell, so he was sentenced to roam the earth for all eternity.

The Irish first started to carve demonic faces on turnips to frighten away Jack's wandering soul. And when the Irish immigrated to the US, they started carving the faces into pumpkins instead as they were native to the region.

We love carving pumpkins. Who doesn't when you're crazy about Halloween? For this week's activity, we bring you a fun game of Bingo!
