Hoseok POV:
I couldn't believe the conversation I was overhearing. Did they all really share the same soulmate? Was it actually possible? The determination on Jimin's face was clear and I knew he truly believed it. Namjoon's mouth dropped open in shock as he tried to process what he was hearing. There were twin looks of surprise on Jin and Taehyung's face as well. Looking around at all my members, a thought popped into my head. Could it be possible that we all actually shared the same soulmate? The odds of it just being five of them seem to be strange and I wondered if she was mine as well.
"Are you sure?" The surprise was clear in Namjoon's voice and I knew he was trying to wrap his head around it all, trying to figure out just what exactly was going on, what was happening between them all.
Jimin nodded. "Yes. I'm absolutely sure." Running a hand through his hair, the smaller man grinned. "I have been getting visions of my soulmate for a while now and I recently learned of her name. I saw a piece of mail with her address and it's the same city as yours. There are too many coincidences for her not to be the same one."
I could see Namjoon thinking about what Jimin had said. It really did make sense. Standing there in silence, Namjoon seemed to be lost in thought. It really was a lot to process and I knew that this, on top of everything else, was only going to add to his already high stress level. Namjoon turned to Jin, his eyes full of questions. "What do you think? What is your take on all of this?"
Jin shrugged; his face filled with the same confusion is everybody else in the room. "I really don't know what to tell you at this point. "From what Jiminie is saying, it sounds like you all share the same soulmate."
There was something in Jin's eyes that I didn't really understand. It seem to be a sadness that was so deep, so dark that it made my heart hurt. I wondered if he was feeling sad that so many of the members share the same soulmate but he wasn't a part of it. I didn't want to say what I was thinking, at least not yet. It really seemed to me that our soulmate was the same.
"What should we do?" Jimin's face filled with excitement and I knew he wanted to meet her. "Since we know who she is and how to contact her, can we call her and tell her?"
"I don't think that's a good idea," Namjoon explained. "It's not really a conversation that you should have over the phone. I wonder if..." His voice trailed off and it made me wonder what he was thinking.
This time it was Yoongi's voice that broke through the silence. "What are you think Joon-ah?"
Namjoon hesitated as though he wasn't sure it was a good idea. "I was... I was thinking that after tomorrow's award show, we have a short break. It's only three days, but it would be enough to fly out to her city, meet up with her, explain what is going on and see if Jimin-ah's theory is correct."
"Couldn't we get her a ticket to the show? Book her a flight here? Then we could meet her tomorrow instead of waiting another day." Jungkook's voice was pleading and I knew he wanted to meet her just as much as the rest of them did.
Jin grinned at our youngest member. "I like the idea Jungkookie, but it's such a short notice. She would need more time to plan for it."
Jungkook's smile dropped and I wanted to hug our maknae. "Don't worry Kook-ah. You're going to meet her soon enough." Moving towards him, I slung an arm around his shoulders. "It's going to be okay."
Nodding, Jungkook gave me a grateful smile. "Yeah. You're probably right." I knew he was disheartened, but the mature way he was handling his disappointment made me proud of him. Our maknae was definitely growing up.
