The Lost and Victory (21)

The world was shaken up by Aika's outrage in energy and personality. Her eyes locked on Dartz as she smiled uncontrollably.  The bullet hell was more fierce than ever before when Kikuri was in control of the district. It seems the platform that was in the arena was disappearing and reappearing and anything on it would disappear if it fell through. 

Dartz leaped over the bullets and ran around the arena to avoid the attack from Aikasuyuri. She also seems to know when to jump to another platform that was going to disappear under her, and it seems Horizon energy she bestowed upon from Rigel has given her foresight to see everything that happens within Horizon type world. 

Aikasuyuri jumped down from the platform above as she walked slowly over to Dartz and a big oversized sword materialized into her right hand while her half left arm seem to stop dripping out blood. She was to distorting the area around her more as the sword glowed in bright blue the more time passes as it was charging up.

Dartz still had to dodge the bullet even with Aikasuyuri away from the top of the platform, and the moment she saw Aikasuyuri's carry that sword she had an intuition that sword is going to be used against her.  

Aikasuyuri's sword glowed completely blue and all of a sudden Aikasuyuri attacked Dartz directly with the oversized sword to cleave Dartz in half. As she was several meters away and she seemly teleports over Dartz but in reality, Aikasuyuri blitzed across the arena with a burst of speed.

Dartz saw the attack in her foresight ability of the attack and managed to dodge it right in time to avoid her attack from inflicting harm to her body but that attack did manage to hit Dartz.  As Dartz sprint out and away from Aikasuyuri, she saw that a foot of her hair was cut short by Aikasuyuri's sword strike and it seem that it was any slower she would have been cut in half.

Aikasuyuri was slow and steady as she walks but her face seems ever more crazed than before. All of the bullet-hell that hit her have gone through her as it clearly shows she was immuned to the District Fight. She dragged the oversized sword on the platform and above the empty space, she seemly walked over as it slowly charge up again. 

Dartz kept moving onward, as she needs to complete the fight of the Rekai District. Dartz kept her distance from Aikasuyuri's as she need time to see the attack fast enough for her body to react in time to dodge. 

The fight continues onward, the attack from Aikasuyuri's has sped up every singular attack as Dartz was slowly unable to dodge Aikasuyuri's constant attack. Dartz began getting cuts and wounds from dodging Aikasuyuri's blitzed attack because she connected the hit on Dartz with the sword or dodging into bullet because the sword would instantly kill her if she dodge it completely. 

Aikasuyuri was giggling and chuckling about each time she managed to connect a strike on Dartz as Dartz couldn't get far enough in time as she make her slow and steady directly at Dartz. "Come on Dartz~ just die for me and we can get to play more and more" 

Dartz finds breaks within the District Fight to talk to Aikasuyuri. "Aikasuyuri, I know you want us to-" dodge a bullet hell and jump to another space spot "to become better but this isn't the right way." Dartz kept moving away from Aikasuyuri to avoid the next attack. 

Aikasuyuri became angry as she strike at Dartz and missed. "I don't want you to start spouting crap like him!" She steps forward at Dartz even quicker. "Just stop avoiding me..." She began to falter for some reason "I just don't want people..." She slowed significantly even though she just move quicker just a bit ago.

Dartz saw that the bullet-hell itself slow completely as the music dies down too, but the song was yet complete. Dartz just watch Aikasuyuri who was walking even slower toward Dartz as she seem to struggle to pull the oversized sword over as she felt a surge of emotion. Dartz suddenly has a spark of memories flowing into her mind, from previous reality. She remembers meeting Aikasuyuri before, she remembers that Aikasuyuri was her friend in the previous reality and wonders why those memories were sealed away but a lot was still missing. She looks at Aikasuyuri and spoke. "Aika. We were friends before you know"
