The Hidden Agenda (34)

Dartz reappeared in the Horizon Ward, where everyone else was and it took everyone by surprise. Dartz took a look at the group consisting of Consta, Tiger, and Shaman. "Hello."

Tiger went up to Dartz and ask. "Where were you? We have been trying to find both you and Rigel." Tiger sigh and ask one more question along with their first question. "Did you see Rigel? We haven't found him anywhere so do you have any clues?" Grabbing the full attention of Dartz.

Dartz simply replies. "No, I haven't seen him at all. Why are you even looking for him? and also for your earlier question. I went to explore a new world that had appeared on my world list and you need not worry about me." 

Shaman felt something was wrong as she could easily smell something on Dartz's body from afar. The shaman was out of sight of Dartz as Shaman's fox girl-smelling ability could sniff a strong scent already from Dartz without even trying. Shaman mumbled to herself in her head. "Dartz... Why are you lying... I can smell Rigel all over you... blood, burns, and ocean breeze of Rigel." Shaman turns away and looks at Consta to quietly talk. "Consta, we need to go now. I don't think we can trust Dartz at the moment. I can smell Rigel on her and including somebody else too."

Dartz walked over to Shaman and Consta. "I completed the Batora District too."

Shaman turns to look at Dartz. "Wait, you did!? How?"

Tiger then came fore and ask Dartz. "How did you beat it? You said you haven't even seen Rigel and yet somehow you went to Batora District and beat it? Didn't we plan to do it together?"

Dartz turns to look at Tiger. "Well, we don't need Rigel. I have found my way of getting into Districts." Dartz looks at them. "If you don't trust me then here it is." Dartz pressed a device she took out of her pocket then a portal ripped open to the next district. "Well, the next District is the Nerifu District."

Tiger looked at Dartz with great suspicion and then asked. "So who were the people who help you then."

Dartz turns to look at Tiger. "Those people. Forget them, if they're helping us complete this then no need for me to explain."

Tiger argues with Dartz. "No, We need to understand where these people are. We don't blindly believe them just because-"

Dartz cut off Tiger. "Then why did you blindly believe in Rigel? Because he was our first helper and the one who came to us when we had nothing." Dartz walked towards Tiger and look at Tiger in the Eye. "Explain to me then. These people are helping us just like Rigel did. Yet you don't seem to trust them."

Tiger was stuck in thought and became angry. "What you may say is true in some sense, but the reason why I believe in Rigel over those people! Is because he experiences it with us when he is helping us! He stood with us while those people only give minimum help to get us past the District and even if they didn't help us back then I believe Rigel will still find a way for us to survive, just like when he found a way to protect our memories." Tiger steps forward at Dartz. "So, if you want to believe in whatever they told you then I must prove to you how we will do it."

Dartz turns away. "Tsk. Believe whatever you want. I will still do it my way. The way to get things done and get us out whatever we are in." Dartz click the button and the portal closed in front of them to the Nerifu District and opened another portal back to their home world. Dartz couldn't hold in their emotion as they aggressively balled their fist and left the group all alone. 

Shaman raised her hand towards Dartz in silence then lower. "After all of that, we only got into a fight with each other."

Consta looks at them. "Well, that was short but quite much for us." Consta went to sit down in the seating area.
