This morning, I feel terribly stressed out!

I check my bag and my outfit at least a thousand times.

I'm so afraid of not getting it right. It would be so nice if everything goes well in college.

As it's being so difficult to fit in with the Bartholy's, I could do with somewhere uncomplicated to go to.

In the dining room, Nicolae greets me with a big smile.

Nicolae: "So, ready for your first day?"

I sit next to him laughing.

Nora: "Please, Nicolae, it feels like you're talking to Lorie, I'm too old for you to worry about me."

Nicolae: "You're never too old for concern."

That's for sure!

Just at that moment, Peter flies in.

Nicolae: "You aren't waiting for Nora?"

Peter: "No, I want to get there first... I don't want to have to wade through the crowd of excitable, new students!"

Nora: "No problem, we'll see each other on campus."

Peter: "That's fine!"

No sooner has he left the room than I feel a cold breath on my neck. A voice that I know by heart whispers in my ear.

Drogo: "What about me? Can we meet up too? Can we meet up in some dark corner of the library?"

His way of blowing hot and cold with me is becoming really tiring.

Nicolae: "Drogo, back off, okay..."

Drogo: "I remind you that I live here! That could be difficult for me!"

Nicolae: "I was talking about college."

He leans over the table until his eyes meet mine.

Drogo: "But maybe our little thing prefers outdoor antics?"

I'm outraged. I stare at him angrily.

He can really be odious when he wants to!

Nicolae turns to his brother and says in a threatening tone:

Nicolae: "Do you really want me to lose my temper..."

Drogo, nonchalent, moves away from him.

Drogo: "Oh, come on, Nicolae! You really should lighten up!"

Judging by the look on Nicolae's face, I understand that he doesn't appreciate the comment.

I hold back a smile. It is true that he appears a little old fashioned... But that's what makes him charming.

Nicolae: "I'm pleased to see that you find it funny. All is not lost, after all!"

Nora: "It isn't me who picks fights all the time. Our incessant bickering wears me out more than anything else."

Nicolae: "I'm well aware of it, but Drogo has always been like this... He doesn't like being close to people, so behaving like this allows him to keep you at bay..."

Nora: "Well, it's working perfectly, I hope to avoid him as much as possible! Thank you Nicolae for... you know... It's always nice to have someone on your side."
