"I'm burning and it's because of you."
Three years ago one decision tore them apart before they even could be together. Now they meet again. With memories of the past and sweet promises of the future the world doesn't seem so bad. But the greed and...
"Make the most of your regrets; never smother your sorrow, but tend and cherish it till it comes to have a separate and integral interest. To regret deeply is to live afresh."

"Where do you think you are going?" Mix turned around to look at Earth walking right behind him.
"With you," Earth shrugged.
"I swear, Pirapat, go home!"
"I like you calling me by my name," Earth winked.
Mix's shoulders fell, "please, I need you to explain everything to your father so that I won't be seeing his men at my shop anytime soon wanting to beat me up again."
The smile disappeared from Earth's face immediately, "yeah, you are right. I'll go, but call me later—if not, I'll come to you."
"You lasted without me for three years, why are you suddenly so eager to be around me every second?"
"I'm making up for the lost time."
"You are actually serious about all of this, aren't you?" Mix was nervously playing with his fingers.
"Didn't I sound serious enough last night?" Earth's voice was low, hanging on every word.
Mix turned away and started walking again, "I'll call you later. Say hi to your father."
A wide smile that Earth couldn't stop formed on his lips as he watched Mix walking away. "Why do you always go after him?" Kevin asked Earth, with one arm around Earth's shoulder.
You doing nothing is even worse than what they are doing. Mix's last words before he left were screaming loudly in Earth's head. He was still standing at the same spot, watching Mix turning by the corner, disappearing from his view.
"Hey, man! What's up with you?" Kevin snapped his fingers in front of Earth's face.
Earth shook his friend off his shoulders, "nothing. I just needed to tell him something, that's all."
"What could you possibly have to say to loser like him?"
"Yeah, right," Earth chuckled. "How about a round of basketball?"
"Finally a good idea, man! Let's go."

The next day Earth was looking for Mix all over the school, but nothing. As if Mix vanished into a thin air, leaving hopeless Earth behind.
