"Hmm," this smells good, Earth said as they walked into the kitchen to eat the breakfast prepared with motherly love.

Scrambled eggs, toasts, and orange juice were neatly waiting in the middle of the table for both of them.

"Coffee?" Mix asked, taking out mugs from the kitchen cabinet.

"That would be perfect," Earth smiled and sat at the table.

Earth's phone had been blowing up with messages from Jay pleading Earth to tell him where he was. But Earth wanted to stay a little bit in that bubble where no one from his father's side knew where he was. This way it felt like it was only Mix and him in the world — the bubble was too delicate to burst so soon.

Mix turned around with two white mugs and an adorable eye smile, making Earth's stomach twinge in a funny way. One side of his lips curved into a smirk — he was still waiting for that kiss he was promised.

"Here you go," Mix put the mug in front of Earth, sitting across from him. "The best coffee you'll ever have."

"If it's from you then I have no doubt about it," Earth reach out to put Mix's hair out of his eyes. "That's better, I wanna see your pretty eyes."

Mix bit the inside of his cheek, took the sip of the burning hot coffee and only then averted his gaze back at Earth. "I thought that once I'll be your boyfriend you'll stop with comments like that."

"It's called flirting baby, and no, I'm not planning to stop," Earth winked.

Mix huffed and shoved a toast into Earth's mouth. "Eat."

Earth chuckled, took another bite of the toast and stole some scrambled eggs from Mix's plate. When he looked up from the plate, Mix wasn't eating, instead, he was watching Earth and Earth couldn't figure out whether he should be flattered or nervous.

"Is there something on my face?"

Mix shook his head and resumed eating, "I was just thinking about what my mom said."

"Which part now? She kinda said a lot," Earth said and took another sip of the coffee but this time from Mix's mug.

"Hey!" Mix pouted.

"Just trying if you didn't make better coffee for yourself," Earth shrugged.

"Does every breakfast with you look like this?" Mix rolled his eyes.

"I usually eat breakfast alone, so no."

"Oh," Mix frowned, could it be that Earth felt alone in that big house of his? That's why he looked so happy around Mix?
