"Stop hugging me so tightly or I start questioning my love for you," Mix said and Earth felt all his hopes crashing down, burning in the air, the ashes falling right on him.

"Okay I'll let you go, but first let me kiss you on the cheek."

"What are you up to, Nat?" Mix asked, sounding playful.

"I bought this new lipstick yesterday and it's supposed to be long-lasting so I wanna try," the girl said and started kissing Mix's cheek.

"Alright, alright, Nat, stop," Mix laughed.

"Yayyy, it works! Perf—Wait," she put her palm in front of Mix's face as if he was the one talking in the first place, and looked at her phone that was vibrating in her hand. At that moment Nat's smile got impossibly bigger and she looked up at Mix, "Cassie is calling. I need to go. Will you be alright?"

"Yes, I will, don't worry. And next time try your lipstick on someone else," Mix chuckled and waved her goodbye.

Earth wanted to leave to but he had the renovation money for Mix. He watched as the girl ran down the street, she was pretty, Earth must admit that—

"How long are you going to stand there?" Earth heard Mix's voice and when he turned around Mix was there staying so close to Earth, too close, Earth needed to step away or else he would suffocate.

Mix frowned, "Earth, what's wrong with you? Are you alright?"

"You didn't tell me you have a girlfriend," Earth breathed out before he even realized what he was saying.

"That's why you look like you have just seen a ghost?" Mix shook his head with an amused smile on his face. "Not like it is any of your business but contrary to how it may have looked like yesterday, I value my life, and I definitely don't wanna end up chopped in a half by," Mix leaned closer to Earth's ear, "Nat's girlfriend."

Earth's eyes shot to Mix's eyes, they were looking at Earth with amusement, but they were honest. "She isn't your girlfriend?"

"No, Earth, Nat is not my girlfriend. She is like my little sister. Her family has a bookshop just a street away."

"But she was so touchy with you, and she said she loves you and kissed you—"

"Mix rolled his eyes, "on the cheek. Nat kissed me on the cheek and as I told you she is like my little sister—we love each other in that way. As for her clinginess," Mix shrugged, "I'm used to it. Why am I even explaining all of this to you? And what are you doing here now? I haven't even called you, yet."

Earth was looking at Mix, wanting nothing more than just to hold him in his arms as he did last night. Those few minutes when Earth thought that he truly lost Mix scared him, more than he wanted to admit.
