"I'm burning and it's because of you."
Three years ago one decision tore them apart before they even could be together. Now they meet again. With memories of the past and sweet promises of the future the world doesn't seem so bad. But the greed and...

Mix let out a relieved chuckle, making Earth look at him in confusion. "Baby, I'm not Sing, I have nothing against the life you have. Yes, I admit I do have something against your father, but you do too. Come here," Mix took Earth's hand and walked with him in front of the mirror.
"Look, do you see us? I like this, it's way better than when I saw only myself there. You wanna know a secret?" Mix looked at their reflection in the mirror, looking right into Earth's eyes, "sometimes when I was standing here alone, looking at myself — I was imagining you next to me."
"You didn't," Earth breathed out.
Mix turned around, now looking into the eyes of real Earth, "I did, and I would never admit it if you weren't overthinking everything again. Earth, being with you is like a dream come true, I won't give up on it just because of your lifestyle or your father. We talked about it already, didn't we?"
"Yeah, we did," a small, careful smile appeared on Earth's face, "I'm sorry for overthinking."
"Don't be, we all do it. But I want you to tell me if something worries you like that, okay? I'm here for you," Mix hugged Earth, slowly stroking his hair.
Earth wrapped his arms around Mix, but not really tightly, remembering all those bruises under the bandages that Earth was yet to see. He bored his head in Mix's neck, brushing his nose on Mix's soft skin. "There are many things you still don't know, many things I want to tell you."
"And I'm here to listen whenever you are ready," Mix kissed Earth's chin and then the corner of his lips, before letting his hands fall off Earth's shoulders, waiting for Earth to release him from his hold.
"Why did you stop hugging me? Hug me more," Earth whined.
"Let's cook something for dinner first, and then I'll hug you as much as you want, deal?"
Earth let go of Mix and nodded, "deal."
.....
"Don't drop it!"
"I won't don't worry."
"I swear to God if you drop the last egg we got," Mix said, watching as Earth took out almost the whole inside of the fridge at once — the last egg they had, balancing at the tips of his fingers.
"Don't worry, doll, I have it all under con—" the last egg that Earth had so much under control suddenly decided to slip from the tips of his fingers and splatter itself right on the fairly clean kitchen floor. "—trol."
"You clearly do," Mix sighed. "I was excited to have ramen with an egg in it. What is ramen without an egg in?"
