"I'm burning and it's because of you."
Three years ago one decision tore them apart before they even could be together. Now they meet again. With memories of the past and sweet promises of the future the world doesn't seem so bad. But the greed and...

Jay shifted his weight from one leg to the other, holding his chin up, his shoulders were tense despite his trying to seem relaxed. He laughed, "oh, Earth, don't worry, I was just checking it around here because I thought that I heard some weird sounds but when I got here I haven't seen anyone. Your father's office is clear too."
Earth nodded, stepping fully into the door to prevent Jay from walking out, "you heard weird sounds?"
"Yes."
"What kind of weird sounds?"
"Uhm, well, you know...footsteps. They were pretty loud."
Earth hummed, "yeah? Interesting because I didn't hear anything until I heard you. And my room is on this floor too, you know that."
Jay's face started betraying him and Earth could see with every passing second more and more that Jay wasn't as relaxed as he was pretending to be.
Jay cleared his throat, "how do you know that it was me who you heard?"
"Because no one else would be able to leave that fast without being spotted if you immediately run here after hearing someone, and then I walked out of my room and the only person I found here is you. Or what? Did that other person disappear into a thin air?"
"Look, I heard someone, okay? Not my problem that that person isn't here anymore," Jay raised his voice, completely letting go of pretending to not be nervous.
"Remember who are you talking to and stop fucking lying!" Earth didn't raise his voice, he lowered it instead and pushed Jay inside the office.
"It's simple, you'll stop playing or I'll tell my father that I caught one of our most trusted bodyguards snooping around his office. So, what it's gonna be?"
Jay groaned, massaging his temples, "you can't do that."
"Why?" Earth cocked his eyebrow and with his hands folded on his chest, he leaned on the door.
"Because."
"Because isn't a reason," Earth shrugged, "I can't trust you anymore, Jay. So don't make it even harder for yourself and start talking."
Jay looked around carefully as if afraid that someone was watching them. Slowly stepping closer towards the office desk he reached under the desk and then showed his opened palm to Earth.
"A bug? You were planning to spy on my father?" Earth's suspicion was reaching a new height but he didn't have time to play cat and mouse with Jay. Earth was already gone for way longer than should be comfortable. Mix must have been pretty worried by now. Earth didn't want to keep him waiting for longer than was necessary.
