"I'm burning and it's because of you."
Three years ago one decision tore them apart before they even could be together. Now they meet again. With memories of the past and sweet promises of the future the world doesn't seem so bad. But the greed and...

"Alright, I'll go to the police station and I'll update you once I know what's the situation," Henry packed everything he needed and lead Earth and Mix outside of his office. "Just go home, Mix. You can't do anything else now. I'll call Earth with any news I'll have."
"I'll give you mine number, after all, it's about my friend," Mix said, waiting for Henry to take out his phone.
Henry gave Earth one 'remember what I told you' look and opened his contacts typing in a new number.
"Thank you, Henry," Mix shook Henry's hand, "I know you are doing it for Earth and not me, but still, thank you."
Henry laughed, "I'm not doing it for Earth - I'm doing it for the money he is gonna pay me. See you later."
Before Mix could say more Henry was already starting the engine of his white Audi and driving off.
"How much is he asking for?" Mix asked, his eyes watching Henry's car disappear in the distance.
"The same as he always does with every case," Earth said, wrapping his hands around Mix. "You don't need to worry your pretty mind about it."
Mix stood stoic, his shoulders still flexed, not letting himself melt into Earth's arms as he always did. "I bet he has enough money to live comfortably. Just like you."
Earth stroke Mix's cheek, his eyes softening, "you are wrong, doll. I have way more money than him."
"Maybe that's why he decided to help because he knows that you will be generous with your pay."
Earth sighed, "Mix, I can't figure out whether you are jealous or you just don't like him."
"Why would I be jealous? I told you I'm fine."
"Really?" Earth raised his eyebrow, "so you just don't like Henry."
"That's not what I said either. It's -" The rest of Mix's words were stopped by Earth pulling Mix to his chest, holding him tightly.
"If it makes you feel better, Henry asked me to never come to see him again. I want you to know that my intentions to bring you here, asking Henry for help wasn't because I wanted to see Henry or because I wanted to make you feel like you are less than him." Earth was speaking quietly, it was almost like a whisper, his hands, on Mix's back, fingers gently stroking the skin under a thin layer of a red shirt.
"You aren't less than him. You are you. You don't need to be wealthy for me to like you. I don't care, Mix. All I care about is that I can be here with you like this, holding you in my arms and it's not only in my mind. I don't want you to waste your energy worrying about something that is never going to happen."
