"I'm burning and it's because of you."
Three years ago one decision tore them apart before they even could be together. Now they meet again. With memories of the past and sweet promises of the future the world doesn't seem so bad. But the greed and...

Getting back into the car, Mix smiled, "of course, just for a couple of days... like we are not planning to kidnap your mother from here basically."
Earth shrugged, "I'm buying us time before my father finds out; he will once we kidnap her."
"That's just in a couple of days then. We could have just let them call your father now. How are those couple of days gonna make a difference?"
Earth started the car, "not much but one important...my mom will be with us and not with him."
Mix nodded, "okay, makes sense but," Mix put a hand on Earth's knee, "are you alright?"
Earth sighed, "I don't know...I guess I am. I got scared when they said that my father took her. He was always many steps in front of me. I don't know what I would do if all this time he knew what we are doing. Imagine how stupid that would make me...little Earth got played by his father once again. Isn't that wonderful?"
"Don't look at it like that," Mix squeezed Earth's knee gently, "your father does shitty things for years, he knows how to move in this kind of world, you have never even hurt a fly...it's different."
"I killed a fly! I hate them!" Earth disagreed.
"Oh, come on!" Mix laughed, "you know what I meant."
"Yeah, yeah," Earth smiled and nodded, "I know whatever, it doesn't matter now. When he finds out we will be back in Thailand and there we'll confront him with everything."
"We still don't know how my mom fits into all of this," Mix sighed.
"We have to talk to your mom immediately after we get back to Thailand."
"It seems that we have to do a lot of things at the same time. It's gonna get messy."
"It's already messy," Earth parked the car at the corner of the street and smiled at confused Mix. "So, looks like we have a couple of days here and because we have nothing else to do, let's just treat this as a fun trip. You wanted to visit America so we are here. What do you say?"
"I'm in! I'm so in!" Mix grinned, "but why did you stop at the random corner of the street?"
Earth titled his head to the right, "ice cream?"
On their right was a small ice cream shop, with colourful flowers hanging by both sides of the door. It looked nice and inviting so why not?
Mix nodded, "always ready for ice cream!"
Earth smiled," let's go on a real date."
"Wait a minute," Mix fake gasped, "is this our first date since we are dating? Well, Pirapat, you should step up your game or I'll get bored."
"Get bored? When my life is so dramatic?" Earth leaned in and stole a quick kiss from Mix, "hardly."
"Don't be so full of yourself," Mix rolled his eyes, "let's just get the ice cream. I want every flavour they have and you are paying!"
"Every flavour they have?" Earth gulped down and followed Mix out of the car.
.....
"Try this one..." Mix shoved an ice cream in Earth's mouth, "coconut and cherry. Delicious, right?"
Earth shook his head, "not at all, you just shoved in my mouth every single flavour they have...and they have fifty different flavours!"
Mix pressed a kiss on Earth's lips, licking off the remaining ice cream, "well, of course, I have to share everything with my boyfriend, including ice cream."
"I really don't think you have to; I would survive without it, thank you."
"Ice cream was your idea, don't try to get out of it now."
"One ice cream," Earth raised up one finger, "not fifty!"
"Okay, okay," Mix chuckled, "I'm sorry, should we go for a walk? Hopefully, we won't get lost around here."
"Definitely, I have to walk this out," Earth stood up and took Mix's hand. "If we get lost I'm blaming you."
Mix rolled his eyes, took one last bite from the ice cream and pushed Earth out of the ice cream shop.
The rain was long over and the streets got filled with more and more people. Earth was pretending to know where they are going while Mix was trying his best not to start laughing every time Earth suddenly stopped to look around clueless, not knowing where they are even going.
After walking for over an hour Mix finally pulled on Earth's hand and made him stop, "do you have any clue where we are going?"
Earth grinned, "I told you if we get lost it's gonna be your fault."
"Good thing we didn't get lost, baby," Mix smirked and pointed at their car across the street. "We literally did a circle and come right back and you didn't even realize."
Earth raised his chin up and swung a hand around Mix's shoulders, "what do you mean I didn't even realize? Of course, I did! That was my plan all along. Hope you had fun."
Mix smiled softly, "I did actually. Thank you for the most random date ever. I really appreciate it."
Earth sighed, "I know that this wasn't anything special but-"
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding," Mix hugged Earth and quickly kissed him, "I loved it. I love everything we do together. It was actually nice to finally not think about all that shitty mess and just have random fun."
"You love the word random, don't you?" Earth teased, hugging Mix a little more.
"Uhmm, but I'm still less random than you are," Mix winked.
"You are the only not random thing in my life, Mix."
"Oh, okay, no flirting today," Mix turned around, smiling. "Let's go back to the hotel; I'm kinda tired."
.....
Getting out of the shower, Mix plopped down on the bed next to Earth, resting his head on Earth's shoulder, "I wasn't expecting to get so tired after today. What I was expecting is that we'll be already on the plane back to Thailand."
Earth pressed a kiss on Mix's temple and slowly stroked his shoulder up and down in a soothing manner, "I was thinking the same but things are how they are and we have to deal with it. Wanna sleep?"
Mix shook his head, "let's watch something."
Earth was about to grab the remote control when Mix's phone rang and the display lit up with Sing's name.
"Hey, what's up?" Mix asked on the phone.
"Mix..." Sing sounded upset, out of it. Something was going on.
"What happened?" Mix urged Sing.
"My uncle...he is dead."
To be continued...
P.S. This was supposed to be just a filler chapter of EarthMix having a little free time between all that angsty mess but then I somehow got to that last sentence and it is what it is...
