"I'm burning and it's because of you."
Three years ago one decision tore them apart before they even could be together. Now they meet again. With memories of the past and sweet promises of the future the world doesn't seem so bad. But the greed and...

Mix turned to the ocean, his eyes locked somewhere at the horizon, "it happened two years ago. I wasn't always working alone in the shop. His name was Glass. He was from Phuket. An orphan. He just finished high school and wanted to travel the world but first, he wanted to learn more about his home country. So he travelled through Thailand and when he came here he wanted to stay for a little bit more than just a few weeks. He was so outspoken and fearless," Mix let a soft chuckle at the memory of Glass asking for a job in his shop.
"He came to my shop one day and he said, 'hey, I was here yesterday and I had your wontons. They are good but I guarantee you if you hire me I can make them even better.' I appreciated the boldness, especially when I know for a fact that my family wontons are the best of the best. Everyone loves them, I'm not bragging, okay?"
Earth chuckled, "you are just stating facts, I know."
"Yeah, well, at that time I really could use some help in the shop — we had more customers than we have now—"
"This will change once you change it into a restaurant," Earth immediately said. In his mind, he already had a little plan on how to make the Wongratch wontons restaurant successful.
Mix looked at him, "I hope so," before he looked back at the ocean.
"Glass was really easy to be around. I was older than him and he did respect me but he also had so much fun breaking those respectful boundaries. One morning I came to the shop and he threw at me a whole bag of flour, claiming he just tripped. He did not trip. At the end of the day before he left he turned to me and screamed April Fools! before running away. He was just a kid, Earth." Mix's voice changed, it wasn't so light and fond anymore.
"One day we decided to go for lunch together. Glass said that he stumbled upon the restaurant near my shop that does the best ramen he had ever eaten. Apparently, it was new, opened only for a few weeks. I was never there before. So we went there and when we were leaving, a black SUV drove by at least I thought they were just driving by. I was looking at my phone when Glass suddenly screamed at pushed me away. All I could feel was blood splashing my face and seeing Glass' empty eyes looking at me before he fell to the ground. Only days later I realized that I saw that car before. Days before it happened, Sing decided that the gang will go to destroy some cars of one rich guy. Those men that were in that car were his men." Mix sighed, putting his face into his palms.
"I told Sing that that guy will have cameras everywhere but he was so sure he will cut them off. But he fucking didn't. And because I did most of the damage, I was the target. It should have been me, Earth. Glass had no idea about my criminal life. He was just an innocent child who wanted to explore the world and now he is dead because of me."
Mix felt Earth's hands wrapping themselves around his body from behind, "it's not your fault, Mix. It happened really fast. You couldn't do anything."
Mix landed into Earth's touch, taking Earth's hand into his, "see? If this wasn't my fault then how is what happened to Henry your fault?"
