jeremy gathered everyone since bonnie had come up with an idea after seeing amara.
"amara could see bonnie and bonnie could touch her. they made physical contact. it's like amara's got a foot on each side or something." jeremy said.
"amara exists in both places at once? here and the other side?" elena asked.
"that makes so much sense." may said noticing how it would explain her behavior.
"then she's not crazy crazy... she's just talking to dead supernatural beings roaming around in our basement." damon said.
"the point is, if silas isn't gonna help us, what if bonnie could be the same thing? what if she existed on both sides at once? what if she became the anchor?" jeremy suggested.
"you're right. jeremy, you're right. so all we would need is someone who could do that spell." elena said.
"elena..." may said knowing where she was going.
"oh, please don't say who i think you're gonna say." damon said.
"think about it. silas wants amara to die. and amara wants amara to die. so who besides us is the one person with the biggest stake against letting that happen?" elena asked.
"qetsiyah." may said in an annoyed tone.
after that, damon went to go talk to her to convince her to do the spell.
-
qetsiyah had agreed to do the spell and they brought her down to the cellar to talk to amara.
caroline brought katherine over so that elena, amara and katherine could give their blood.
qetsiyah was going to use the blood of the doppelgängers to draw her power from in order to do the spell.
suddenly the electricity went out in the whole house meaning silas was there.
they also noticed that qetsiyah and amara were missing.
everyone was looking around the house for qetsiyah and elena had finally found her.
stefan had taken amara away from the house to lure silas away so qetsiyah could continue the spell.
may and caroline were sitting in the living room waiting till the spell was done when they heard jeremy talking to someone.
it was bonnie.
"bonnie?" elena asked.
"please tell me this is real." caroline said.
"i think it is." may said.
"you guys can see me?" bonnie asked them.
"bonnie, it worked." jeremy said as bonnie cried tears of joy.
"it worked. it worked." bonnie said as elena and caroline ran over to hug her.
"you're here." elena said.
"thank you." bonnie said.
"oh, my god! oh, my god! and we can be roommates. cause we have that extra bed. we can clear out half the closet..." caroline rambled.
