enzo took them to where stefan was currently living and they met a girl named ivy who stefan was dating.
"hey, i ran into some of your friends." ivy said as she walked into stefan's house.
"what? where?" stefan asked her.
"here." ivy said as enzo, caroline and may entered the house.
"stefan. you are a hard man to track down. i wasn't sure if your new friend would invite us in but she said this was your place. which means open invitation for all your old mates, right? got any bourbon?" enzo said as stefan and caroline locked eyes.
"hi, stefan." may said with a smile.
"hi." stefan replied.
they all sat down to have dinner that stefan had already began cooking before they arrived.
"you've always been a great cook." may said to stefan.
"good stuff, mate." enzo said.
"so how do you guys know stefan?" ivy asked them.
"stefan and i have been friends for basically centuries." may said even though it was true.
"he and i went to high school together. he used to date my best friend. not that he's not allowed to date. i mean, they broke up. i just didn't realize that he had met someone. so how did you meet, exactly?" caroline asked them.
"hmm." enzo hummed in agreement.
"uh, ivy's car was in the shop where i work." stefan said.
"you have a job?" may asked him.
"you work at an auto repair shop?" caroline asked at the same time.
"it's relaxing." stefan said as enzo chuckled.
"why, what did you used to do?" ivy asked stefan.
"ah, man of all seasons, jack of all trades. oh, you have a lovely clavicle." enzo said to ivy.
"oh. thank you. i think." ivy said.
"not exactly dinner talk, enzo." may told him as she drank her glass of wine.
"forgive me. i always notice a woman's neck. i'm a neck person. so is stefan. right, stefan?" enzo asked him.
"not anymore." stefan replied.
"well, that's silly. you can't just stop being a neck person." enzo said.
"is enzo your boyfriend?" ivy asked caroline.
"oh, god, no. would you date that?" caroline replied.
"uh, hello, i'm right here. i have super sensitive hearing. practically supernatural. do you believe in the supernatural, ivy?" enzo asked her.
"uh, i've never really thought about it." ivy admitted.
"i, myself, i'm a believer. had to get a witch to do a locator spell to find my buddy here." enzo said as may cleared her throat but ivy laughed it off awkwardly.
"you're hilarious." may said glaring at enzo.

"about a month or so ago." stefan replied.
"no, more than that, remember? we met two months ago and you already had it." ivy said.
